Heartfelt appreciation...

I am truly thankful for all the people in my life...I appreciate every single one of them. Family, friends, my bloggin' friends...I am so lucky and blessed to have you all in my life! Thank you! This card is dedicated to all of you!! ;)

It is based on today's Limited Supplies challenge over at SCS. It is called "A Challenge to Die for" Yup, you guessed it, to use Die cuts on your card! I made the card base from the Sizzix Scallop Card Die and the flowers are from the Flower Layer Die. The flowers are made from fleece and felt. The butterflies and green branches are Martha Stewart punches and I also used a Melissa Frances rub-on, lots of glitter, gems, a chipboard heart and some velvet type ribbon.

Don't forget to tell the people close to you how much you love them and appreciate them! Have a great weekend everyone!! ♥

♥ Loved beyond Measure ♥ MMSC12

♥♥♥Scroll down for Lindsay's Digi Stamp Thursday! Free Digi Stamp!♥♥♥
This is for this week's Midnight Madness sketch over at Priscilla Styles! What a great sketch! I love to incorporate tags on cards! So fun!! For my card, I used some Bo Bunny paper, Bazzill Basics cardstock and the large tag is from a Melissa Frances ticket book that I trimmed down to size. Do you see the cute little footprints on the tag? The ruler is a stamp by Inque Boutique from their School Record set and I also used some Melissa Frances rub-ons, crocheted trim, ribbon, buttons, hemp cord, a piece of red felt and some chipboard hearts, both the negative and positive.

And I also have some good news to share with you! Priscilla has asked me to be their first Guest Design team diva for the month of August! I am so excited to work with her and her super talented team! Everyone whom I have had the pleasure to "chat" with so far, is extremely nice!! They are such a talented group of woman! I am honored to be working with them!! Thank you Priscilla and the Midnight Madness DT!!
So come on over to Priscilla Styles for some fun sketches and for your chance to win some fab goodies, get this week's "Masterpiece Award" or become September's Guest Designer!!

Have a wonderful day!!

The Beauty of Dreams...

Another quickie post today! We have a storm coming, so I want to get out and clean the pool before it starts! Don't you just love mid-afternoon Summer storms!! I do, especially when it's enough to water my flowers, so I don't have to! ;)

This is for today's Sketch Challenge over at Splitcoast. Every Wednesday, they have the best sketches to play with! This week's is a fairly simple one, but still lots of possibilities! I used some Kraft CS, Luxe Designs Polka Dotted dp, a quote stamp by Heidi Grace, some Martha Stewart punched butterflies, Kaiser Craft Pearls, pink cotton ribbon and a Melissa Frances Rub-on. Hope you like it!

I hope that you have a wonderful day and a great night filled with lots of beautiful dreams!! See you tomorrow!

Love is spoken here....♥ Warning! ♥ Lots of Photos!! LOL

♥♥♥Jacksonbelle Tuesday!♥♥♥
Well, we are back from our 3-day trip to Hershey Park...we had a great time...rollercoasters (11 of them!)...kiddie rides...great food...family...Hershey's chocolate...5 extra pounds!!! They only downfall was it was HOT and Humid! But it was FUN! We had a blast on the rollercoasters most of all! I could ride them all day long! The higher...faster...more loops...the better! My hubby, brother-in-law, niece and nephew and myself couldn't get enough of them! I especially love the one where your feet dangle in the air as you fly through the air! My poor sister-in-law would just watch us along with my 3 yr old son, but they still had fun too! My son finally got up enough nerve to go on some rides...and he LOVED them! I was so proud of him. The look on his face was priceless as he rode the little train all by himself! On the Lady Bug Ride with his cousins....Sharing an ice cream with daddy...On the Swings...Before we went home, we stopped at the Indian Echo Caverns. An underground cave..so cool!A little pool of water inside the caves...And then we went to the Amish Country for dinner. It still amazes me to see them riding their horse and buggies on busy highways!
Ok, now onto Jacksonbelle Tuesday! This week's challenge is to use Pink Paislee or October Afternoon products! And you too can play along! Just use keyword JBE064, if uploading to SCS, or you can send a link to your card to the JBelle Blog!
I used Pink Paislee's Spring Fling line on mine. I also used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder on the white cardstock base, a crocheted flower, that can be purchased HERE at the Jacksonbelle Store, a Melissa Frances rub-on, some felt, which I cut the heart out of, a button and some hemp cord and satin ribbon.

Now let's go and see what the rest of the JBelle Rockstars has created for you!

Dare to get Dirty!!

***Scroll down for Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Post!****
The annual Dare to Get Dirty challenges are starting today over at SCS and runs through Saturday the 25th! There will be hourly challenges issued by current and past Dirty Dozen Members based on past DD/Fan Club themes! So much fun! I was asked to be a sample maker for Bonnie's (eggette) 2pm Challenge! To make a card that has anything with wings on it! You know that's right up my alley!! ;)

This first card is a Flap Card (instructions can be found HERE). I used some stamps by Just Rite and the Rubber Cafe(butterflies). Paper is by Prima Marketing.
The second card uses the same paper and the same Rubber Cafe stamped butterflies. I applied some Shimmerz paint in Pink Poinsettia to all the butterflies. I also used some crocheted ribbon, some Martha Stewart ribbon and a Melissa Frances Rub-On. the pearls are by Kaiser Craft. So, if you get a chance sometime this weekend, stop by Splitcoaststampers for some fun challenges!!

Well, we are off to Hershey park on Saturday morning and I have lots to do before we go!! Yumm, I can smell the chocolate now....and see the extra 5 pounds later!! LOL So, I will see you all here on Jacksonbelle Tuesday!! Have a great weekend!!

Hugs,

There's no place like Home!

Isn't that the truth! Home is that special place that always makes you feel warm, at ease, safe and comfy...I just love our home. Especially since we had our little pumpkin..it now feels complete! When I first saw this cute tree digi stamp by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, I thought "how comfy that owl looks to be in his home"! I colored in the tree with some Copics and then added the buttons where there are actually circles. So the circles could be colored in to look like apples, but I decided to make a tree that grows buttons! hehe The polka dot paper is by Luxe Designs, the rub-on by Melissa Frances, butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and the felt ribbon is by Creative Imaginations.

Don't forget, all this month Lindsay is having a sale in her store! For every $5 you spend you get a free digi stamp! Now let's go and search the rest of the DT for this week's FREE Digi Stamp by Lindsay!!

Cake, Candles and Babies!

Just a quick post today! Off to run some errands! Just wanted to show you a couple of cards I made for some recent SCS challenges. This first card is for today's Sketch Challenge. What a fun sketch, so many possibilities! I used my favorite combo lately....Kraft paper and turquoise! The turquoise polka dot paper is by Luxe Designs and the striped paper is by My Mind's Eye. The stamps are by Lizzie Anne Designs, In the Nursery, which I colored in with Shimmerz Paints. I finished it off with some Martha Stewart ribbon, buttons and hemp cord.

This next card was for Monday's Try a New Technique Challenge, to use fabric on your card. I stamped the little girl first onto a piece of white fabric, then trimmed out only the dress. I then colored it in with Copics and then Shimmerz Paints in opal and Sunny. I then adhered the fabric dress over another stamped image of the girl on cardstock. The stamp set used is by Pink Persimmon called Little Red Wagon. Papers used are by Making Memories and October Afternoon. I finished this off, with some more green fabric as grass, gingham ribbon, a Melissa Frances Rub-on, a button and some hemp cord.

Tomorrow I will have some cards that will be used as samples for the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges that start tomorrow over at SCS and run until the 25th! There will be lots of fun challenges issued by past and present Dirty Dozen Members! So stop by SCS tomorrow and Dare to Get Dirty!! ;)

Have a Wonderful Day!!

I colored in the image using all three of the above mentioned new Shimmerz colors, which I'm sure Lindsey will have in her STORE soon! ♥Birthday Gift Set♥ {A Shimmerz and Flourishes Project!}

Today on the Shimmerz Blog, we will be showcasing some projects that the DT recently made with Flourishes stamps! Yup, Shimmerz and Flourishes did a little swap of products and we on the Shimmerz team got to play with these AWESOME stamps! I just L~O~V~E Flourishes! Their stamps have such great detail to them and they are just the cutest! So if you have time, please stop by the Shimmerz blog today and show us some support and lovin'! ;)

I decided to make a Birthday Gift Set with my All Wrapped Up stamp Set by Flourishes and of course, some beautiful Shimmerz Paints! I first stamped the presents twice with black Staz-On, colored them in with Copics, then applied some Shimmerz paints over the coordinating colors. (I used Pixie Dust, Pink Poinsettia, Hotty Pink and Wintergreen Blingz, Opal, Candle Light and Sunny Shimmerz and Cotton Candy and Baby's Breath Spritz.) I then trimmed them out with little scissors and/or a craft knife, just cutting out the bows on the second images. I then adhered the bows with some mini pop-dots.

My card base and gift card holder was ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. I used some sheer ribbon and some Creative Imaginations felt ribbon on everything. The gift card holder is actually a paper towel roll, which I cut into the right size, flattened it out, and hot glued the bottom to make the pocket. I then adhered the white cardstock to the front and back. It makes for a nice and sturdy holder and it's "green". Hope you enjoyed everything!

I'll be back tomorrow with another Shimmerz project, this time using the new colors which will be released tomorrow! Have a great day!!

Shimmerz Paints are releasing some new yummy colors just in time for Summer! Just look at their names! Caribbean Sunset Spritz, Tickle Me Turquoise Shimmerz, Jilted Jade Shimmerz and Island Salsa Blingz! Look at these beautiful colors!! Aren't they so tropical looking?!! It makes me want to hop on a plane and go to an Island somewhere, anywhere!! They will be released this coming Tuesday, July 21st! So come back here and on the Shimmerz blog for a project or two made using them!

On Monday I will have another project here and on the Shimmerz blog using Shimmerz, of course, and some GORGEOUS Flourishes stamps! So make sure you come back for that too! Please!!
