♥ Pin Cushion/ Photo Holder Teacup ♥

♥ Happy Memorial Day weekend to everyone in the U.S. and abroad! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with family and friends! Don't forget to remember and honor those who lost their lives fighting for our country and our freedom and for those who still are! God Bless them all! ♥


Just wanted to share a fun project I made for a contest. The contest was to make a Mother's Day Gift. It was on a wonderful site called Handmade Gifts Made Easy. There are so many gorgeous and inspiring gifts on there for all kinds of events, seasons and holidays! You must check it out! And the owner, Stephanie, well, she is just the sweetest person!  I made this sweet Pin Cushion/Photo Holder Teacup for my mom. You can find the detailed directions on how to make it, HERE.


 I had a lot of fun making it and of course, my Mom loved it!! Anything with my kids pics on though, she just adores!


 I also made a Keepsakes Box with a handmade mini photo album for the contest too. You can add pictures to it year after year. You can find the directions on this HERE.

    WOW -- this is AMAZING and best of all, such a treasure for your Mom!!! Those stick pins are exquisite and the pin cushion makes me think of my Mom who was a seamstress. Received a new sewing machine for Mother's Day, so really missing her; she'd have loved all we could do with it. Adorable keepsake box too!

The sun is shinning big time......for once in Northern Ireland and it looks like its shaping up to be a beautiful weekend here too, so we are going to make the best of the lovely weather.     What a sweet gift...I made my Mom a chintz sugar bowl pincushion a few years back which she loved...but never thought about adding all the wonderful details you did...love the photo/pin...very clever!
    We did have a safe holiday, except for hitting a deer...ugh!!!
