This week at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog we have a super fun challenge for you!! It is a sweet color inspiration photo! That sweet kitty is Mannie and he belongs to the super sweet and talented Kristina Werner! Kristina is the person who puts together the wonderful Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kits as well as designed stamp sets that can be purchased through the card kit and also in the store separately. Just recently she has also designed exclusive dies that are just awesome! The Simon Says DT shared many creations using these dies in last weeks challenge!
We want you to use the main colors of black and white with a splash of accent colors. (seen at the bottom of the photo) I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!
This week the Simon Says DT is featuring products by Basic Grey! For my card, I chose this fabulous clear stamp set by Basic Grey and Hero Arts called Guest Check. Love this fun set!!
I also used some wonderful BG paper from the Clippings Snippets 4x6 Paper Pad.
I finished it off with some Hero Arts Accent Pearl Hearts, trims and seam binding, a white rose and some glitter.
And, don't forget, Heidi will generously give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
And lastly, there is also a Anything Goes Children's Challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog as well!
The challenge is for children the ages of 2-16 years old. 2 winners will receive a wonderful Junior Stamper Kit!!
My 6 year old son, Antonio, made a special little parrot for the challenge. He traced his hands onto some cardstock, cut them out and used them as the feathers. Very creative, I think! He thought of it all his own too!
So get your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews into the craft room and let them have some fun too! And they could win a very special prize!!
Have a wonderful day!
