YAY!! {and a card!}

Woo-Hoo! I made it to the Final Round of Simple Scrapbooks "So You Think You Can Stamp" contest! Thank you to everyone who has voted for me! It is very much appreciated it! I hope you will come and vote for me in the Final Round starting on Monday! The winner will get over $1500 worth of prizes, be published in their magazine and lots more! The last technique that we have to do is Stamp Kissing! And for those who don't know, NO, you don't kiss your stamps!! LOL I wish it was that easy! You have to ink up your solid stamp with a lighter color and then ink another background or image stamp with a darker color and then stamp that 2nd image onto the lighter colored stamp itself and then that stamp onto your paper! OIY!! Well, wish me luck! I already have an idea as to what I'm gonna do and when I'm finished I will post it here on Monday!

Also, this morning, I found out that I came in 2nd place for the month with my card Autumn Owl over at ScrapnWin.com. They will be sending me some goodies in the mail! Can't wait to see what it is!

And, here is a simple card I did for a challenge on Melissa Phillips and Wendy Johnson's blogs. To make a card using felt. The felt is by Inque Boutique as well as the Chipboard scroll which I inked up and then sprinkled with glitter. The papers are by Basic Grey and Pink Paislee. The "i adore you" stamp is by Studio G. And I finished it off with some sheer ribbon, hemp cord and a button.

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I know we will! Well, maybe not so much tomorrow, we have to close our pool! Boo!! But Sunday, my mom, my son and I are going on our annual Hay Ride and doing some Pumpkin Picking! Love it!!
