Today is the Release Party for some awesome new stamps over at Queen Kat Designs! And now I am officially on the Design Team! Woo-Hoo! There is going to be alot of fun games, challenges and prizes today at the party!! So make sure you sign up and play along!! Just visit the new QKD Forum today for some FUN!
So here are some projects that I made with 2 new stamps! This first one is so cute, it is called Love Birds!
Here is what I made with it!
I used some Bittersweet paper by Basic Grey, some K&Co. Felt Hearts and a Melissa Frances Rub-On. I used some Copics to color in the birds.
This next one was also made with some Bittersweet papers, another MF Rub-On, chipboard hearts and mini pearls.
This one was made with some paper by Little Yellow Bicycle which I folded in half and then cut that in half with my trimmer to form the card base. I added some satin ribbon, a MF rub-on, flower gems and some glitter added to the feathers of the birds.
This next stamp that I used is called Flower It and is a background stamp. It is so versatile and can be used a number of ways.
And here is what I made with it.
On this card I simply stamped the image, all in one color, onto a piece of white cs and matted it onto some pink cs. I added 2 small pearls to 2 flowers in the corner. The background paper is also Bittersweet by BG, and I added a MF Rub-On, Making Memories flower pins, a pearl pin and some ribbon and a button.
For this card, I inked my Flower It stamp in multiple colors of reds and pinks. Matted it onto some mauve cs and then added some K&Co. Felt Flowers and I used my White Paint Marker to make some "stitches". The sentiment was printed out of MS Word.
For this card, I used a Butterfly shaped mini chipboard album, which I covered in yellow cs and stamped the Flower It image onto it in pink ink. I added a Valentine pick, chipboard heart, crocheted flower, mini pearls as eyes, ribbon and ric rak and the sentiment was printed out of MS Word.
And lastly, I took a plain white gift bag and prettied it up a bit with the Flower It stamp!
