Hi Everyone! Well, I just couldn't stay away! The Shabby Tea Room got me!! hehe While I should be taking a nap while my 4 yr old son is quietly playing the Wii game and my little guy is finally down for his nap, I decided to stop by my favorite challenge blog just to see what was going on! Needless to say, when I saw this gorgeous inspiration photo for this weeks challenge, I couldn't resist playing along! Isn't this bracelet beautiful!? It sure would look pretty on my wrist!! hint! hint! (hubby) LOL
I decided to make a fun party favor with this theme. I used a metal heart container which I sanded the edges to make a little shabby. I then added some tissue papers, punched hearts, handmade stick pins with crystals and pearls, a bow made from some fabric, a My Mind's Eye ticket, Prima flower, glitter, pearls and chipboard heart. I ran a mauve colored ink pad over the white flower and chipboard heart before added some glitter to them. The basket can be filled with chocolates or whatever little goody you would like. It is perfect for a wedding shower, baby shower, birthday party or maybe a Sweet Sixteen. (Click on photos for closeups)
I actually managed to decorate the front steps of our home for Fall. I have since added some pumpkins. My favorite time of year! Now if only the weather would cooperate! It's still so darn hot! Can't wait for this weekend! It's supposed to be in the 60's!!
Lastly, here are some pics of Antonio and Santino. Tuesday was Santino's 1 month birthday! Boy, does time go fast!
Have a wonderful weekend! And a special thank you to Debbie and The Shabby Tea Room for getting my creativity sparked up again!! :)
Hugs...

ReplyDeleteForgiveness
is not reconciliation, it's not condoning unkindness, giving up your
hurt feelings, forgetting what has happened, it is simply moving on.
We
must forgive each other, ourselves, and others for past mistakes that
...have been made. Forgiveness brings us closer and mends ugly wounds.
Oh, my congratulation! Little Santino is so cute... :)))
