When I saw this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room, I immediately fell in love! The colors and image was so inspiring, especially since I had been wanting to alter this recipe box for a long time and this was just the push I needed to do it! I couldn't wait to break out my Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen papers, cutouts and rub-ons for this project!Aren't those mini pots and utensils adorable? I picked them up awhile ago at Joann's and couldn't wait to use them one day. This was just the right project for them! I made the large "rolling pin" on the recipe box from a wooden spool, ribbon and some Melissa Frances Chandelier Drops. The mini ones on the card were made with mini spools, ribbon, paper and beads.
I also used some Maya Road chipboard alphas, crocheted ribbon and some of Debbie's seam binding ribbon.
The card uses this week's sketch over at The Mojo Monday Blog. Here is the gorgeous Shabby Tea Room Inspiration photo:And the Mojo Madness Sketch:And last but not least, here are some Halloween photos of my 2 son's. Antonio was Thomas the Train and Santino was a lion! Antonio had a blast Trick or Treating with his cousins.
I will be having a FUN GIVEAWAY shortly! SO stay tuned for that! Have a wonderful day!
