This week I am your hostess over at The Shabby Tea Room. I chose the theme "Sweet Hearts". You must either use the colors from this inspiration photo which are pink, green and brown (you can use a neutral color like white too!)or you can use doilies, polka dots, flowers, lace, ribbons or all of the above! And there must be a heart or hearts on it too! The inspiration photo is a cute little confectionery set I picked up at Pier One. Of course, I had to alter it a bit! ;)
For my card, I used an acetate card as my base, adhered a Prima felt Gate onto the front of the card and trimmed the acetate on the top around the gate. I then decorated the front with some Martha Stewart roses and punched butterflies, chipboard heart and key, some beautiful papers by The Girls Paperie, Creative Imaginations and Webster's Pages, some pearls, a Melissa Frances resin keyhole and rub-on, pink ribbon and some glitter.
On the inside I used an adorable Digi stamp by this week's sponsor Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps. It is called Pussy Cat Luv. Aren't they adorable? So in love! I also used a punched heart, pearls and another Melissa Frances rub-on.(Sorry for the bad closeups! My camera is no the fritz! Anybody have any suggestions for a good camera under $350??)
This week's winner at The Shabby Tea Room will win 5 Digi stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 paper set of their choice from Robyn's Fetish!
Don't forget to visit the rest of the Shabby Girls! You will be inspired!
