♥ Toile and Ticking...French and Shabby ♥

The current challenge at the Let's Get Shabby Challenge Blog is to use Toile and Ticking on your card. Well, I didn't have any real good ticking paper other than this Webster's Pages striped paper. But I think it's just as good. ;) You should see what the DT created! Just beautiful!

I also used lace and Prima trim, some seam binding, a charm, chipboard heart which I painted white, distressed it a bit and then added some glitter to it. I also used a Melissa Frances keyhole and rub-on transfer, punched butterfly, Liquid Pearls and some Pink Paislee Crystals on a chain. And that beautiful French Label is from The Graphics Fairy.

And lastly, I went back to that Consignment Shop today. I picked up a beautiful half moon shaped table for my foyer, an old birdcage just perfect for my "Grandma's Attic" space (see 2 posts down) and this gorgeous stool! Can you believe it was only $25?! It's perfect for inside my closet for when I put on stockings, shoes, etc.

Have a wonderful nighty night!!

  3. Beautiful! And I love that little stool! Would love to see the bird cage, and whatcha gonna do with it, is it something to alter or leave as is? hmmmm.... My daughter had one in her room, I loved it! She had a "nature" type bedroom, now she's outgrown it :(
