♥ You're a Jewel! ♥

This week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room is called Birthstones. It is to create a card/project with your birthstone on it. How fun is that!!

This week the Shabby Girls got to play with stamps by this week's awesome sponsor, Pink Persimmon! We were all sent these adorable stamp sets called Scottie Dogs and You're a Jewel. My birthstone is Garnet (January) so I incorporated a little red stamped gem into the dog's collar as well on the tag. If you've never tried Pink Persimmon stamps you are in for a real treat! The quality rubber is awesome and it leaves a crisp clear image. Not too mention they are so cute!!

This week's challenge winner will win a $40 Gift Certificate to the Pink Persimmon store!! Awesome prize!

Don't forget to visit the rest of the Shabby Girls too!

I hope everyone is well after the Hurricane! I am auto-posting this before it hits us. It is coming right for us here in southern NJ, so hopefully it will turn out to the ocean some more before it does! We had to postpone my son's 1st birthday party because of it. But as long as we are ok, that's all that matters!! I will keep you all posted!!

Have a wonderful day!

  2. Sorry you had to postpone your son's 1st birthday party BUT so glad you are all safe... AND if this isn't the cutest card ever.. I am not much of a stamper, I can hardly stamp a sentiment. Super super cute.

  3. Oh, that's sweet! Love the many textures you've used, and how they're combined. Love that little chappy standing so cute! I have a thing for Scotty dogs in art and craft. Love this one!

Sorry you had to postpone the party but you'll have a story to tell him about how you chose to be safe instead. Hope you were one of the lucky ones so many have lost so much.
