So looking forward to taking my little ones out to Trick-or-Treat in a week or so. My oldest son is going to be Mario from the Mario Bros. and my 1 year old is going to be a little pumpkin. Love this time of year! We Trick-or-Treat on the 30th here and not on the 31st! Why you ask?!! Well, on Halloween night we have a HUGE Halloween Parade here in town. It is the 2nd largest in the world! So this way the kiddies don't miss out on either and not to mention it cuts down on alot of mischief on the 30th since people are out walking around!
So to get in the Halloween spirit, this week's Shabby Tea Room challenge is simply called "Happy Halloween"! Just create a card or project with a Halloween theme using the colors Purple, Orange and Black and you must also use some twine and or raffia!
The winner of this week's challenge will win a $20 Gift Certificate to our sponsor "More Paper than Shoes". What a gorgeous shop!

I used an adorable (free) Witch and Cat image from The Graphics Fairy. The papers I used are by Fancy Pants Designs, the Oct. 31 line. The sentiment is a stamp from Crafty Secrets.
To finish up the card I used both raffia and brown twine. I wanted to try to make the twine look like a spider. I also used a black button and some glitter.
