...take up the most room in your heart.
Yesterday my hubby, kids and I took a ride up to New Hope, PA just for a little family outing. My husband and oldest son went into a little shop to look around and my 14 month old and I decided to stay outside. While we were walking around, my son picked up a 'ginormous' leaf. He started to giggle uncontrollably by the looks of this strange object. It made my day to see this happy little boy get so much joy by just a leaf!! Sometimes...it's the smallest things.
This is a card I made for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch. What a great sketch it is too! It would look awesome turned any which way! I used some of my FAVORITE papers at the moment! Prima's Printery line. Love, love, love this collection!!
I paired up the beautiful papers with a tea-stained heart, Jenni Bowlin stick pin, mini wooden spool, ribbon and a Prima Spool Button. To finish it off, I used this awesome Verve Stamp called, Smallest Things Plain Jane.
Here is the awesome sketch!!
Have a great weekend everyone! And Happy Veterans Day tomorrow!
Hugs...

ReplyDeleteI really like this card but I like your story better!! I really enjoy hanging with my 2 year old grandson for just this reason...gotta look at the world through the eyes of a child to renew the sense of awe and wonder...at the little things that bring that joy to life.
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa, I thought I would pop in to say Hello. Sorry I haven't been over for ages, work is sooo busy but I keep a track of what you are doing through my dashboard.

Your card is gorgeous. Love all the details. Love your story also. We do have to enjoy the smallest things also. TFS
ReplyDeleteThis is too pretty to be just a card! It would be gorgeous in a frame to be hung on a wall, especially in a nursery. A beautiful gift for a new mom.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing! :)
I've added your card creation to my pinterest page under favorite card samples! This is SO VERY lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quote and wonderful card!
