Woo-Hoo! Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day so far! It is beautiful here! The temperature is perfect. Next week though, it is supposed to be in the 90's and feel like 105 degrees! Jeepers! We're all gonna cook!
The new challenge at the JustRite Inspiration Blog is a color challenge. Love these cool, summery colors together!
I made a little set that includes a Birthday card and a Wooden Spool Photo Holder. I used the JustRite Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty Cling Set.
I also used several different patterned papers from 3 different manufacturers as well as a stick pin by Elise, Liquid Pearls in White Opal, seam binding, chipboard heart, flowers and a button.
For the Photo Holder, I painted a Maya Road Wooden Spool white, added the damask paper and then embellished it with the flowers, seam binding, stamped butterfly and tag. The pin for the photo is by Tim Holtz.
These would also make great place card holders for a birthday party as well. Instead of J'Adore in the middle you could right in the person's name.
Have a wonderful day! ♥ I'll be back on Monday with another Giveaway!! ♥

ReplyDeleteOh, Melissa! What a fabulous way to recycle an old spool...but I'm thinking that instead of a place holder using it to hold a favorite photo or two. :) Thanks for the wonderful inspiration...I just bought a BIG 'ole bag full of spools at our local flea market and was waiting for something pretty to do with them. Once again, you are amazing!! :)
