I made up a little "basket" to give the gardener in your life! I started with a simple little galvanized metal planter that I picked up in Michaels for a few dollars, a Maya Road Tin (that their chipboard comes in), some metal plant markers, mini gardening tools, Vegetable seed packets, gloves and the NEW Vegetable Garden Digi Set by Crafty Secrets! Love this sweet set!! (There is also an AMAZING Flower Garden Set too!!)
First, I painted the Maya Road tin with some White Acrylic Paint.
When dry, I added a piece of seam binding ribbon around it and then the sweet Seed Packet image with 3 carrots over the top. Inside I enclosed some real Vegetable Seed Packets.
Next I added some seam binding around the tin planter and then added the "Vegetable Garden", Watering Can and Spade Digi Stamps to the front.
Fill the tin with some Spanish Moss.
Next, I made some cute little plant markers using some of the Veggies from the Digi Set. I colored them in with some Copics and adhered them to the side of the metal markers. (The paper on them is from the Radiant Paper Collection.)
Lastly, arrange everything in the tin to make a cute basket for someone. The "How to Grow Vegetables" Digi makes a cute cover for a Garden Journal!
Don't forget to leave some love for the other amazingly talented Crafty Secrets DT Members as well!!
