Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They saw liberty and thought they saw weakness. And now, they see defeat. --George W. Bush, President of the United States.

Happy Wednesday everyone!! It's time for another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing Cuttlebug/Provocraft and Sizzix products. I chose this beautiful embossing folder by Cuttlebug and designed by Anna Griffin called Rosa. Love the beautiful roses, leaves and vines that run through it. After embossing it onto my circle die cuts, I simply brushed on some light pastel chalks over the embossed images. It actually looks like a beautiful piece of fabric irl. So pretty!! I can see myself using this folder a lot!!
I also used a stamp set by Ali Edwards called Favorite Memories (the large sentiment) and also a stamp set by Avery Elle called Petals and Stems. The patterned paper that I used for the base of the card is by Magnolia Ink called Vintage Pink. And finally, I also used the Chrissy and Leanna Butterfly Dies exclusively by Simon Says as well as the Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles Die Set.
And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
And last but certainly not least, it is STAMPtember® here at Simon Says Stamp!! So make sure you visit the Simon Says Stamp Blog for daily Giveaways, Special guests, blog hops and lot's of prizes to be won!!
Have a fun filled day!
hugs...

ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I have never thought to color on top of embossing, and I don't know why. The look is so soft and pretty.
