Hi there! Sorry for my absence lately. I had the yucky flu. :( I still feel kind of bad but better than last week that's for sure. Boy, it really got me good! I was scheduled to get my flu shot last week, go figure! And on top of the flu, I got Pink Eye and Acid Reflux!! I know I will be 42 next month, but really?! I feel like I'm falling apart at the seams! hehe Oh, well, on to my card...
Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's theme is called "Let it Snow"! It's all about snowflakes, snowman, snowy scenes, etc.
For my card, I used papers from both the Glistening 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique and the music paper is from the Merry Little Christmas Paper Pad by Fancy Pants Designs. I love the Spellbinders Venetian Motifs Dies. They remind me of a big snowflake and blowing snow!
I also used the Kate Snowflake Die exclusively by Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is from the Frosty Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C.Designs. I finished it off with lots of White Glitter, twine and Pearls.
And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Sweet friend, love your card, and so glad your on the mend. I can't get the flu shot, it makes me horribly sick. I am not feeling well today. The cold weather has gotten to me. Sending a hug.

ReplyDeleteHi Melissa! I will admit that I'm not normally a big fan of white-on-white, but this is really gorgeous! I love the creamy white, and it just really has a lovely flow to it. Great job (as always). I'd love to have you share sometime at Word Art Wednesday. It doesn't have to be a scripture card - it can be anything. We have some really fun sponsors the next few weeks (well, I personally think we always have awesome sponsors), but next week is Scrapping Center and the following week is V's Sweet Ideas so it's a great chance to win yourself some darling product as opposed to digis. We normally have one product prize and one digi prize, and I always LOVE having you join us.
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to say that I just prayed for you (heard you were under the weather) and also prayed for the boys and your family to remain healthy this Christmas season. Hope you really enjoy the holidays.
Blessings,
Karen
What a pretty card. Thank you for sharing.
