Hi there! It's time for another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want to see Stencils! There are so many great stencils out there! They can be used with inks, paints, gesso, gelatos, etc.
This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by The Crafter's Workshop! I used the Gothic Romance 12x12 Stencil on my card. There are 4 great stencils on this 1 template but I only used 1 of them on my card. This stencil also comes in a 6x6 size as well. I first added some Distress Ink in Milled Lavender to a piece of Distress Cardstock using the Mini Round Blender Tool. I then used some White Gesso with the Stencil to give a raised look to my card. I then distressed the edges with a light brown ink.
The die cut butterflies and sentiment is from the Friendship Butterflies Stamp and Die Set Exclusively by Simon Says Stamp. I first die cut the larger butterfly using a Prima 12x12 Burlap Sheet. The 2nd butterfly was die cut using some of the Distress Cardstock and then inked with some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. The smallest butterfly was die cut using some Simon Says Vintage Paper.
I also used the Large Heart Doily Die by Simon Says which I drenched in some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter. I finished it off with some Prima roses, May Arts Twine, Pearls, Crystal Heart, lace trim and Antique Ruler Trim By Creative Impressions.
And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
Have you seen the new Simon Says Stamp Store Website?? It looks amazing! You can see it for yourself HERE! Happy Shopping!! :)
Have a fabulous day! ;)
