♥ 3D Grand Anniversary Book/Card ♥

Hello there. Today I want to share with you a super sweet Book/Card that I made for my husband for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. I used the new Grand Cabinet 3D Card Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders from the New and Fabulous 3D Vignettes Collection.

I made the base of the card with the Grand Cabinet Dies but I cut off the tabs on the right sides of the die cuts since it was to be used as a book. Becca has a video HERE which shows how easy it is to put it together.

On the front of the book I also added the Filigree Veil Etched Dies as well as the 1 and 5 from the Filigree Numbers Set.

Here I used the Filigree Veil Dies to make a "pocket" that I will put a gift card in or something from our special day 15 years ago. I haven't decided yet! :) But I like the idea of having a pocket to put something in. ;)

Another page that you can add a pic to or write something special!

Here I added one of my favorite pics from our wedding day. I also used some of the Happily Ever After Etched Dies on this page.

On the last page, I left it blank so I can write a special something to my amazing husband. :) Here's a little something you may or may not know about me! My husband and I eloped to our favorite town in Vermont. Just him and I. We then surprised our family and renewed our vows in front of them all in church right before our first son's Baptism, 3 years later. Both set of vows were special to me but I have to say that the 2nd ones were my favorite since our first born and family was there. :)

This was so fun and easy to make! I hope you give it a try too!

You can see all of Becca's AMAZING Dies HERE! Have fun shopping! :)

Hope you have an AMAZING Day!

hugs...

  2. Thank you, Melissa, for sharing this very personal creation. It's gorgeous!!! I'm always looking for ideas on making pockets and I love the one you made for this project. Just beautiful - the colors, the papers and the dies that invite the viewer to see what is around the next page turn.
Congratulations, also, on 15 years of wedded bliss. May there be many more!
    Blessings, Sandy

  3. This is GORGEOUS, Melissa!!! AND I also LOVE that you chose to make this for your hubby!!! (They sometimes get over-looked in all of our crafty work! When THEY are the ones encouraging behind the scenes!) ;) AND I LOVE the blue tones you've chosen, along with the idea of the little pocket!!! Turning this into a wedding gift, it would be a NICE ADDITION for the new couple--a gift card! A little surprise!!! ;)SUPER JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. This is a beautiful book. I have been looking for the tiny roses that you have on this and can't find them. Where ever did you get yours?
I am making favors for my grandmother's 100th birthday and these would be perfect.
I am so glad I have found your blog. It has such lovely ideas.
