I get alot of inquiries regarding the "Christmas Wish Boxes" that I make. So I thought I would share a few more that I made with you (well, I actually just finished making 15 of them for 1 customer-Whew!!). These fun boxes can be filled with Christmas cards that you receive, candy, a small gift or filled with all those Christmas Wishes! I made some with traditional Christmas colors and some of the more funky colors that are out now for Christmas! They are soo fun! I hope you like them!(click on photos, for a closeup)

If anyone has any questions, regarding any of the products used or a tutorial on how to make one, please email me at keepsakesbymelissa@yahoo.com!

I get alot of inspiration from Melissa Phillips' blog, LilyBean Paperie! Her work is amazing and she is just so darn cute!! And, I also can't forget Dani Flanders Blog, Homespun with Heart! She is Super talented and my Scrappin' Idol! hehe I am in awe of both of these ladies work! If you haven't seen either of their creations, stop by and pay them a visit! You won't be disappointed, trust me!!

Now on for a little candy!! In honor of SNR 2 Weeks of Christmas Fun, I am giving away a "Christmas Wish Box" to 1 lucky person! The one I am giving away is slightly smaller than these original ones, but still large enough for alot of wishes!! All you have to do is 1.) leave me a comment on this post AND 2.) either follow me and become my friend or leave a link on your blog to mine telling everyone about my candy! And if you want an extra chance, go and subscribe to Scrapbook News and Review's E-Zine! I will have my 2 1/2 yr. old son pick the winner out of a bowl, next Saturday, the 13th at 8 pm! EST Good Luck and thanks again for stopping by my little neck of these blogging woods!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

First Snow *Snowflake Card*

Well, crazy me was at it again!! I took a break from decorating and I made a card!! I just can't help it!! I traced a wooden snowflake that I am currently altering (of, course) onto a piece of white cardstock, folded the CS, and then cut. I then had 2 snowflakes. I ran one through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. Punched a hole in the top of them and tied them together with some white hemp cord. I then ran my glue pen along the edge of the snowflake and then sprinkled on some glitter. I then added some Kaiser Kraft Adhesive Pearls, Me & My Big Ideas CS Stickers, ribbon, a felt snowflake, a button and some more white hemp cord. Easy Peasy! It is so sparkly and pretty! Sorry, for the bad pic though, it looks much better IRL!

Hope you have a great night! And don't forget tomorrow is my Scrapbook News and Review "Blog-A-Log" Day and I have some Blog Candy too!! ;)

Hugs, Melissa

Cricut Cut Out Cards!

Just a quick post today! I wanted to share a couple of cards I made awhile back using my Cricut Machine. I am in the middle of decorating my home for Christmas and I usually have it almost done by now! But with all the deadlines I've had, I am just starting today and it takes a week to do it all!! I can't wait til' it's all up and I get to see the look on my son's face! He is at such a great age! Everything is so new and exciting to him! Oh, well, enough rambling and on to the cards!! hehe

The first one was made using my Cricut and the George Cartridge with the Silhouette option for the moon.

I used the center of the moon, which I cut out with a craft knife, on the inside of the card.

This next one was also made with the George Cartridge and the Silhouette Option for the Star.

I used the center of the star on the inside of this card also.

Make sure you come back tomorrow! It will be my day featured on the Scrapbook News and Review Blog-A-Log Tour! And I am going to have a GIVEAWAY!!! YAY!

Have a wonderful night and stay warm!!

Hugs, Melissa
