Here is another card I made with the new stamp set called "Doodled Tulip" which will be released tomorrow. I love this beautiful set. And this really is a sneaky peek, since I didn't use the entire flower image! LOL The paper used is by My Mind's Eye.

Honoring Lori Renn!

Today, some of the past and present Shimmerz DT members are honoring Lori Renn. Lori is on the Shimmerz DT and just designed her own line of stamps sold exclusively at The Rubber Cafe, who I am also lucky enough to be a part of. Lori's stamps are adorable! You can check them out HERE

Here are a couple projects I made with two of her stamps as well as a Rubber Cafe stamp, Trailing Hearts, which is on the chipboard flower on the card.

Here is a glass heart shaped bottle that I painted with some Hotty Pink Shimmerz. I used Lori's Love Always stamp on this one. And I also used some Pink Poinsettia Shimmerz on the stamped heart.


And here is a card made with Fancy Pants and Pink Paislee DP, Cosmo Cricket Chipboard flower and heart, Pink Poinsettia Shimmerz and Lori's I Adore You stamp.

Tiptoe through the Tulips!

March 4th is a very special day! First off, Queen Kat Designs will be releasing the new March Stamps! And they are gorgeous! And also it is me and my hubby's 6th Anniversary! It seems so much longer, but in a good way!! I guess because we've been together for 16 years! Make sure you visit the QKD Forum on March 4th!! There will be lots of fun and games! ;)

Here is one of the cards I made using the New Doodled Tulip Stamp Set being released Wednesday. It was designed by the very talented Beverly Douglas! This stamp is gorgeous and so versatile. It can be colored in or left with just the stamped outlined image. So elegant! I used some My Mind's Eye DP, Bazzill CS, Gold Glimmer Shimmerz and satin ribbon. I stamped a second tulip and leaf and applied it overthe original with some pop dots for added dimension. This card was made using last weeks Sketch Challenge over at SCS. I will be back during the week with some more cards to show you!

Well, just a quickie post tonight! My son is sick with Bronchitis, so I need to get back to him! I thought he was going to dodge getting sick this winter, but with this crazy weather, I guess it was bound to happen! His 3rd Birthday is next Sunday, the 8th and we had to cancel his party until the following Sunday! I feel bad, but I don't know what the week is going to bring and it is better to be safe than sorry. I don't want the entire family to get sick!
