Here is a quick and easy place card holder that you can make for your Thanksgiving Day table. And it makes a great favor that your guests can take home with them. It only took me about a half an hour to make. Not including glue and glitter drying time. (But you can dry with a heat gun for a quick dry)
I took a styrofoam ball, coated it with clear glue and then added some Copper colored glitter to it. Set aside to dry. I then took a negative space 3" chipboard circle and glued a bunch of punched out hearts to it to act as the feathers. (See pic below!) I then glued that to the back of the styrofoam ball when it was dried. I then added a Prima flower to the top, which I inked and glittered, some black pearls for eyes, and a beak and that red thing {LOL what's that called again!??} out of pipe cleaners. I then used a chipboard heart covered in paper as the base (feet). To finish it off, I added some signs made from paper and toothpicks and some ribbons.
