♥ Cupcake Inspirations Guest Sweetie! ♥

Isn't that a cute name for a Guest Designer? Guest Sweetie! Well, that's what I am this week over at the {Cupcake Inspirations} Challenge blog!

This week's Inspiration photo is this yummy cupcake with these gorgeous colors! I love the simplicity of the cupcake, so I decided to make a simple card with those beautiful colors.

For my card I used some pretty papers by The Girls Paperie and Prima, some orange satin ribbon, punched Martha Stewart butterflies, a Melissa Frances rub-on, pearls and the butterfly trails are actually a large crystal Flourish that I cut into smaller ones.

♥ heartfelt Blessing ♥

Today I finally had time to sit down (don't do that too often! LOL) and just "play" with some papers, ribbons, hearts and pearls! I also finally got to play with some fun challenges that are going on right now, especially one for my favorite local Scrapbooking Store. It is called Paper Wings. Not too long ago they started their own blog and every week they have a challenge. This week's challenge is to make a handmade embellishment. I made some "rolled" roses out of pink ric rac and a handmade crystal and pearl stick pin.

I also used my favorite Making Memories papers and tag from the Je t'Adore line. A paper doily, Melissa Frances rub-ons and some pink ribbon.

This week's sketch over at the Mojo Monday blog is a fun one! For my card I used some of that gorgeous new paper by Making Memories. The Je t'Adore line. Love it!! I also used a free download offered by Papertrey Ink. The cute little "thinking of you" tag. As well as the stamped sentiment. I also used a Maya Road chipboard swirl, MS punched butterflies, paper doilies, glitter, a heart gem and pearls.
