♥ Spring Cheer ♥ JRC#115

Well, it has snowed here again! No school again! Cold, polar vortex air, AGAIN! So this is why I made not 1 but 3 creations for the current JustRite Friday Challenge, Spring Cheer! ;) It is to use a colorful, Spring palette!

Not that I'm complaining, I actually really like the snow and especially when school is closed for a snow day and my son wakes up with a big smile on his face! But it is nice to create with the pastel colors of spring! For this first card, I used the Hydrangea Vintage Labels Seven Clear Stamp Set. Love that gorgeous flower stamp! The dies are JustRite's Vintage Labels Two Dies.

On this card, I used the adorable Welcome Spring Clear Stamp Set. This set has so many cute little bunnies, pretty sentiments and adorable labels! I stamped the bunny onto some kraft cardstock and trimmed it out. I then stamped it again onto some white cardstock and then trimmed out just the ribbon and bow and then adhered it over the kraft bunny for some added dimension. I also used the JustRite Vintage Labels Two Dies, Spellbinders Oval and Fantastic Flourish Dies. The papers are from the Melissa Frances Classic Elegance 6x6 Pad.

And finally, I made a Spring tag! I also used the Welcome Spring Set on this as well as the same Melissa Frances papers. Love that sentiment!

♥ Simon Says...Anything Goes with Pearls! ♥

Happy Hump Day! It's time for another Anything Goes Challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! But we have added another twist! You must use Pearls! It can be adhesive pearls...Liquid Pearls...Perfect Pearls...a Pearl Shimmer Spray...etc!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Bazzill. I chose 2 different paper pads by Bazzill for my card. The Antique 6x6 Paper Pad and the Vintage Marketplace 6x6 Paper Pad. Love these vintage inspired papers!

I also used some White Opal Liquid Pearls and I sprayed the entire card when it was finished with some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels. It gave the entire card a nice shimmery, pearl look. The stamped sentiment is from the Just a Love Note Clear Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp.

If you look closely, I also used a vintage milk bottle cap. I not only like the teal color of it but it is from a Dairy called Cooper's from my hometown of Iselin, NJ! When I saw it on Ebay, I knew I had to have it! It goes perfectly with those sweet papers, I think! ;)

♥ SCS Love Fest Challenge by Simon Says Stamp ♥

Happy Saturday! Have you seen all of the fabulous Love Fest Challenges over at Splitcoast?? Well, if you haven't make sure you check them out! There are many fun daily challenges and great prizes up for grabs!

Today Simon Says Stamp is hosting a challenge! It's called "Die Crazy"! Create a card using a die or dies and upload to the SSS Love Fest Challenge Forum using the Keyword LOVEFEST2014I! (the last letter is a capital i)  You can find it HERE!

Here is the 1st card I made for the challenge. I used lots of great dies on this one. I first started with Spellbinders Stately Circles Dies. I half embossed and half cut the larger circle die. You can see the fun tutorial on how to make it HERE.

Next I used the pretty Chrissy and Leanna Butterfly Dies by Simon Says Stamp and the Filigree Corner Die by La La Land Crafts. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp's Apothecary Labels Set. I also used some White Opal Liquid Pearls and some string gems and pearls.

On this card, I used the Pointed Feathers and Large Heart Dies by Simon Says Stamp. Love those cute feathers!! I used papers from the Homemade With Love line by Carta Bella.

I also used some clear sequins, White Woodgrain cardstock by Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is by Clearly Besotted, Love Quotes Clear Stamp Set.
