♥ So {Shabby} Sweet! ♥ MOJO181

Tomorrow is my son Antonio's 5th Birthday...where does the time go! It feels like yesterday. He is super excited to be bringing cupcakes into school for all his friends to share. And we will be watching the Sprout channel tomorrow to look for his birthday card that mommy made him. Hopefully it will make it on the air. {It has the last 2 years!} Then on Sunday all of the family will be coming over to help him celebrate! I wish I could find a magic potion though, to keep him at this age! Anyone have any?? :) Here he is in his karate uniform last week after he got it! He was so happy!
I love this vintage french Chocolate label! It can be used for so many different things. And you can download it for free too! Just visit The Graphics Fairy HERE! LOVE this blog!
I also used some papers by The Girls' Paperie, a tea stained hear doily and roses by The Little Pink Studio, Maya Road chipboard, mini handmade tag, seam binding ribbon, Melissa Frances resin key and rub-ons and pearls.
I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I turned it around a bit. But what a fun sketch!
I was also inspired by the following challenges:

Paper Play Challenges: Shabby Chic/Vintage
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Pink Polka Dots
♥ And this beautiful inspiration photo from Off the Wall Craftiness!
Have a wonderful day!

♥ White on White ♥

After just getting about 2 feet of snow, more of the sweet white stuff is expected today and tomorrow too! I love snow! Especially when it snows alot and things and people are in a stand still! Everyone is tucked safely in their warm houses! Then later on all the kids are out riding their sleds on the pure white snow, happy they have no school! Love it! So all this snow, makes it easy to make an all white card!! :)
I painted a chipboard house and heart with white paint and then added lots of glitter to them and a Melissa Frances rub-on and adhered them over a heart doily. I then added a MF lock, MS punched butterflies, ribbon, pearls, another rub-on and more glitter! I added just a pinch of pink to the heart for a tiny bit of color!

I am entering this into the following challenges:

~ City Crafter Challenge Blog: Winter White
~ Cupcake Craft Challenges: White is White!
~ Flutterby Wednesday: #136

Have a great day!

♥ Bless your Home with Love... ♥

I hope all of your homes are truly Blessed this time of year and always! This is a card that I plan to put in a white frame when I decide to give it away. It is great for someone who purchases a new home or just because! One of the hot things right now are those little wooden houses, but they can be pricey. So I decided to make my own out of hard styrofoam. The great thing about the styrofoam is that they can be placed onto cards, like this one. Of course, they can't be mailed unless it is in a box, but they are a sweet little gift to hand deliver to someone. You can make them removable from the card, so they can be displayed by themselves or the entire card can be framed, like I plan to do to this one. Or you can just decorate them and display them just the way they are!!
If anyone is interested in purchasing one, decorated or plain, just shoot me an email @ keepsakesbymelissa@yahoo.com.
For the card I used papers by My Mind's Eye and Pink Paislee, Melissa Frances rub-on and acrylic keyhole, ribbons and trim, chipboard heart and lots of glitter!

I used this week's sketch over at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. Here it is:

I was inspired to make this because of this week's challenge, House Warming over at the Cupcake Craft Challenge blog. It is to make a New Home creation. And this is also for the Sparkle challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog.

Lastly, I just wanted to show you some pics of my niece's gorgeous Wedding cake from 2 weeks ago. I wish I could do that! I ♥ beautiful cakes and fondant!!
I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!
