♥ Altered Dress Form ♥

♥ Woot! Woot! It's Friday!! And Happy March 1st! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :) ♥

I had this metal dress form that is supposed to hold jewelry for awhile now. I never used it for jewelry. I just had it sitting on a table in my craft room. A couple of weeks ago, I decided it was time to alter her a little. She was so naked! So I thought I'd give her a dress! I just adore the Radiant Digi Paper Collection by Crafty Secrets and thought the papers would make a beautiful dress! I ♥ that gorgeous Rose paper!!

All I did was cut strips of the paper and hot glue them around the metal frame. I then added some pink scrunched seam binding in between the strips of paper. I then "molded" the pink polka dot paper (also in the collection!) around the upper part and then simply hot glued it in place.

I used the Material Girl Digi Stamp Set to embellish the bottom of the dress form as well as the top. LOVE this stamp set!! (And if you love this set too, just wait until you see what Crafty Secrets is working on now!!)

To finish it off, I added some more seam binding, pom pom trim, flowers, buttons, paper measuring tape, pearl stick pins, pearls and a mini wooden spool.

Make sure you come back here on Monday (My 10th Wedding Anniversary!!) for some new Crafty Secrets DT projects I am working on! And also starting on Monday, make sure you visit the Heartwarming Vintage Blog for the March Linky Party!! You will have a chance to win a $50 Gift Certificate to the Crafty Secrets Store!!

Have a fun weekend!!
