♥ Simon Says...Let's Be Clear! ♥

Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going great so far! :) It's time for a brand new challenge at the SUPER AMAZING Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is... Let's Be Clear! Think clear stamps, clear acetate, clear sequins, clear gems, etc!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Clearly Besotted! You don't have to use them but if you have them, we would love to see them! ;)

I am using the cute You're A Hoot Clear Stamp Set by Clearly Besotted. The owls in this set are so adorable! Love the little hearts, flowers and sentiments as well. To go with the "Clear" theme, I am also using some Clear Iridescent Sequins.

The woodgrain paper is from the True Love Paper Pad by Basic Grey. I also used the following inks...Chocolate and Blueberries by Clearsnap, Black StazOn and Audrey Blue, Doll Pink and Sunshine Ink Pads by Simon Says Stamp. I also used some Doll Pink Cardstock also by Simon Says Stamp. The little Crystal Heart is by Prima.

For my card, I chose this cute stamp set called Birthday Whoot by Art Impressions. That owl is just to cute! Love the sweet sentiments too! I colored it in with some Tim Holtz Distress Markers and added some Googly Eyes to him.

The papers are from the On Trend 6x6 Paper Pad by Crate Paper.  I also used the Large Scalloped Circles Dies by Spellbinders as well as some White Opal Liquid Pearls and May Arts Natural Twine.

♥ Simon Says...Joy's {beautiful} Photo Inspiration ♥

I'm back with my 2nd post of the day! This time it's for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is a gorgeous inspiration board that my super sweet and lovely teammate Joy made for you all to be inspired by! (See pic below!) So many sweet, different photos to go by! I can't wait to see all of the fabulous white on white cards you all make!!

This week, the Simon Says DT is featuring products by Cuttlebug! You don't have to use them on your creation, but if you have them, we would love to see them! I chose 2 different embossing folders for my card. For the background, I am using the Textile Embossing Folder. Love that pretty pattern!

And on the center panel of the card, I am using the Birds and Swirls Embossing Folder. I love that sweet Owl on the Inspiration Board photo and I wanted to use one on my card and I know I have tons of different owls. Stamps, die cuts, chipboard, etc. Could I find one?? Nope! So, I decided with Valentine's Day right around the corner, why not make one out of hearts! So I did! hehe I used the Simon Says Stamp Large Heart Dies Set. I used some vintage button and Liquid Pearls for the eyes, a Simon Says Stamp Wooden Heart for his nose and I gave him a Prima Crystal Heart as well!

The cute sentiment is from the Avery Elle Lots of Love Clear Stamp Set. The cute little die cut Ornate Lock is by Cottage Cutz. (sorry for the bad pics! So hard to photograph!!)

♥ The Sweet Days of Summer ♥

That is the name of this week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room...The Sweet Days of Summer. It is to create a card and/or project using a handmade flower and the colors pink, peach, green and a neutral.

For my card, I used an adorable digi image called "Owl Always Love You" by our sponsor Paper Pretties. I colored it in with some pink, peach and green Copics. I then added some twine to act as branches. I used some beautiful papers by , as well as some buttons, lace which I inked peach, ribbon and my flower and leaves were made out of sheer and cotton fabric.

This week's challenge winner will receive this beautiful Clear Stamp Set by Paper Pretties! It is called Give a Hoot!

And speaking of Summer, where did it go?? I can't believe it's almost gone!! Actually, where did the past year go?? I can't believe that in 6 days my son, Santino, will be 1! Whew! Time is going way too fast! And Antonio will be starting Kindergarten in a couple of weeks!! Oh, my!! Does anyone out there have a youth serum that I can buy?? I don't want them to get big!! Oh, how I love them soooo.
