♥ Simon Says...Something New ♥

Happy Hump Day! And since it's Wednesday, that means it's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge...SOMETHING NEW! We want to see a card for a new baby, new home, new year, etc!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by WPlus9! I am using the Wishing You Sentiments Clear Stamp set for my card this week. Love this set! Love this sentiment since it could be used for many different things. A retirement, a new job, moving to another state/country, etc. This set comes with 6 different sentiments and even can be personalized with the enclosed "mother, father, son, daughter or partner" stamps!

I also used the Sketch Star Die, Cotton Candy Cardstock and Moonshine sequins all by Simon Says Stamp, Deco Sheets and Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter  by Tim Holtz. I finished it up with some May Arts Natural Twine and Hero Arts Pearls.

♥ Happy New Year! ♥

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope that 2014 brings us all peace, happiness and good health!

And speaking of New...it's time for a NEW challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog!

This week our challenge to you is "Something NEW"! New Year, New Car, New Baby, New Home, New Craft Supplies, etc!

And this week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by My Favorite Things. I chose to use the clear stamp set called none other than "New Beginnings"! It is full of some great sentiments and quotes! And not just for the New Year but for other milestones as well! I also used the Stacking Star Die-Namics by MFT as well! Those can be used all year long!! ;)

For the sparkly stars, I added some strips of Silver Glitter Tape to some cardstock and then die cut the stars out of it. I also used some Gold Glitter Tape along the border. Next to the gold tape, I added some Glossy Accents by Ranger and then some chunky glitter for some added sparkle. The Wooden Clock is by Prima. I finished it up with some Clear Sequins and Twine.

♥ Simon Says...Something NEW ♥

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope this new year brings peace, love and happiness to you all. This world definitely needs it, that's for sure. Let's hope this year is a much better one! :)

                                                     
 
Today marks a new year of challenges at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! And this time we want you to make something New! Think...New Baby...New Home...New Car...New Job! Or make your creation with something New, say, maybe, that you received from Santa!! ;)

For my card I not only used some New goodies but I also made it for a New Baby! Love the adorable Cute as a Button Clear Stamp Set by Maya Road. It's so versatile, it could be used for many different occasions.

The pretty polka dot papers are from the Vintage Chic 8x8 Paper Pack by Heidi Swapp. I also used an old Baby rub-on transfer by Melissa Frances, a paper doily, seam binding ribbon and a handmade stick pin that I added a small Maya Road mini spool to.

♥ Simon Says... Something New! ♥

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This time we want you to create something for either a new home, new baby, new car, etc, etc OR you can use something new on your creation! Get something new and crafty under your tree?? Well, use it on your card and then link it up on the challenge blog for a chance to win a fabulous prize!

This week the Simon Says DT got to play with Cuttlebug folders. I used the 5x7 Polka Dots Embossing Folder on my card. The adorable papers are by Simple Stories from the Baby Steps 6x6 Paper Pad.

The adorable Flower Frame stamp is by Imaginisce. I also used some punched hearts and butterflies by Martha Stewart as well as some pearl swirls, seam binding ribbon, Melissa Frances flowers and glitter.
