♥ Loads of Love ♥

Happy Hump Day!! It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This week's theme is "Pin It". We want to see creations using Pins, Safety Pins, Paper Clips, Clothes Pins, Bowling Pins....think outside the box! :)

I chose this cute little stamp set called 'Loads of Love' by Unity Stamps. Unfortunately it is out of stock at the moment but there are other cute "laundry style" stamps as well in the Simon Says Stamp Store.

I colored the image in with some Copics and then trimmed it out. I place it over some die cut circles to frame it out. I then stamped the "Loads of Love" onto some punched hearts that I laid out onto the table and then stamped over it. I then "hung them up" on the twine using some Hero Arts Little Clothespins. They are too cute! I also made some "bubbles" with some Liquid Pearls. The cute hearts paper by Lily Bee is from the SSS July Card Kit. The Kit is Sold Out but you can buy that paper pad HERE.

♥ Simon Says...Take a Picture! ♥

Today starts another new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This time we want to see anything Camera and/or Film related. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!

For my card, I used Unity Stamps Snap and Click Cling Stamps. That little camera with the heart on the lens is too cute!!

I also used the Mama-razzi2 6x6 Paper Pad and Cardstock Stickers by Bo Bunny. I love the cute paper with the little Polaroid photos on it! That's what the cute vintage photo was cut from. I finished it off with some Prima Crystal Hearts and seam binding ribbon.

♥ Before I go, you might remember last year, the Simon Says Stamp family held a card drive for Maddy. She is a young, beautiful and brave young lady who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She went through chemotherapy treatment, followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie. 

Three months later, we were thrilled to report to you that Maddy seemed to be on the road to recovery!  This January, we learned that she had relapsed, which unfortunately means she's going to have to go through this very physical and emotional pain again.

She was overwhelmed with happiness reading all of the cards that were made and sent to her. Would you please join us again and send a card to Maddy? You can find more info HERE.

♥ Simon Says... Let's Get Fruity! ♥

This week's super sweet challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is all about Fruit! We want to see fruit on your creations! Cherries, pears, apples, grapes, etc! Can't wait to see what you all come up with!!

 For my card I used a fantastic Cling stamp by Unity Stamps called "Pear of a Recipe". I stamped it in black ink onto white cardstock. I then distressed the edges with my paper distresser tool and inked the edges with various brown inks. I then "colored" in the pear with some soft green pastel chalks and coated it with glitter.

 The papers are by Bazzill from the Vintage Marketplace Paper Pack and the background paper is also by Bazzill it is called Antique Newsprint. I also used a chipboard circle and heart by Maya Road which I painted white and distressed with ink and then added a K&Co. embossed sticker and a Hero Arts white heart pearl to it. I finished off the card with some seam binding, handmade stick pin, trims and Liquid Pearls.

One week from today my sister and brother-in-law are flying in from Memphis! We can't wait to see them! My oldest son especially is excited!! We haven't seen them since January. We have a week of fun planned! Can't wait! "Life is Sweet"!

♥ Simon Says Stamp... Anything Goes! ♥

Hi everyone! Today is my first DT challenge with Simon Says Stamp. I am so excited to be with this FAB team! This week's challenge is an easy peasy one! "Anything Goes"! So we want to see your best creations out there! And don't forget, each week the winner receives a $50 credit to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

The Simon Says Stamp Challenge DT all used some Unity Stamps on their cards. On my card, I used an Itty Bitty stamp by Unity called "Hello my Friend". It is such a pretty stamp. I stamped it twice onto white cardstock, colored them in with some Copic Markers, added some Martha Stewart ultra fine white glitter and then adhered them to the card. I also used some Prima Madeline paper, Martha Stewart punched butterflies and Doily Lace punch, Hero Arts pearls and I finished it off with some pink satin ribbon.
