♥ Simon Says...Dawny's Sketch! ♥

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This week we have a fabulous sketch for you from our very own Dawny! She just does the best sketches!! (see below) We hope you have fun with it!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Stamps Happen! You don't have to use them on your card, but if you have any, we would love to see them! I chose this adorable stamp called "Let it Snow Man!" So cute! I stamped him onto white cardstock with black ink and then colored in his hat, gloves and carrot nose with some Copics and then added lots of chunky glitter to him.

The adorable papers are by Carta Bella from the Winter Fun 12x12 Collection Kit. It has so many adorable Winter themed papers and stickers. I also used a Maya Road Chipboard Snowflake and lots of White Opal Liquid Pearls.

I just want to wish everyone here in the US and abroad a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! We are of to my Sister-in-Law's house to be with her and her family for dinner and then we are going to my parents house for dessert! ♥ Simon Says... Dawny's Sketch! ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone!! You know what that means!! A new and FUN challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This week, we have an amazing sketch by our super talented Dawny! (See Sketch Below) It is so versatile! You can flip it around or use any type shapes, they don't have to be exactly like the sketch, just as long as you follow the basics of it! But the one requirement is that you HAVE FUN!!

 This week the Simon Says DT are featuring stamps and/or dies by My Favorite Things. For my card, I used the Polka Dot Greetings Die and Stamp Set. (But actually only used the stamp from it.) I also used the Flower and Leaf Trio Die-Namics. At first, I was going to layer the flowers but then decided to use only 1 layer for each to better match the flowers on the paper. I added some White Opal Liquid Pearls to the centers.

 The beautiful papers are from the Simple Stories Fabulous 6x6 Paper Pad. Love all the bright summery colors in this line!

♥ Simon Says...use Dawny's Sketch! ♥

Hi sweet friends! Hope you all are having a super fabulous week this far! This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is sure to get you in the creating mood! It is a wonderful sketch by our own Dawny! It can be turned around on its side, upside down however you want to use it. And you can not only use it for a card but it would also be perfect for a scrapbook layout as well! Just take a look at my awesomely talented teamie Joy's LO!! Awesome, isn't it?!!

The Simon Says DT is featuring products this week by American Crafts and/or Martha Stewart! I chose the new Neopolitan line by American Crafts. Love the sweet pastel papers in the 6x6 Paper Pad.

I also used the ever so fun Neopolitan Mason Jar Stamp. Such a cute little stamp set!! It comes with the little heart stamp as well as a little star, flower and strawberry! So sweet! I also used a paper rose, twine, Liquid Pearls in White Opal and a Martha Stewart Heart Punch.

♥ Simon Says...Dawny's Sketch! ♥

This week at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog we have a FUN sketch for you all to play with! (See below for sketch) Flip it sideways, turn it upside down, we don't care! As long as you use the basic sketch, we want you to have fun with it!

But, before moving on to this weeks challenge we need you to cancel all your plans for next week, all leave is cancelled !! ha ha We need you all here to join us on a HUGE Stamp-tember Blog Hop and Treasure Hunt !!

For the second year in a row the Simon Says Stamp and Show DT and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge DT are joining forces to celebrate the approaching fall and winter holidays. Now back to this week's challenge! This week the Simon Says DT got to play with some fabulous Lawn Fawn stamps! I chose this adorable birthday cake stamp called "Year One". I stamped it 3 times, in 3 different color inks and then paper pieced the cake back together. I then coated it with some Martha Stewart Fine White Glitter. The polka dots and striped paper are by Echo Park. It is called Candy Shoppe. The paper pack comes in many different colors.

To finish off my card, I also used a paper distresser, some Liquid Pearls and some Hero Arts Lace Ribbon.
