Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had another HOT one! But we still had fun! We did some yard work, played in the pool, did some grilling and most importantly relaxed! Ahh! The sweetness of summer is almost upon us! And so is Father's Day here in the US. I decided to get a jump start on my Daddy's Day cards, so I decided to use
this week's sketch over at the
Mojo Monday blog. It was perfect for the idea I had in my head, to use these MME tags and mini clipboard. This card is also for this week's challenge,
Just for Dad, over at
The Shabby Tea Room. But first, here is the sketch!
For my card, I used some papers from the Fresh Print Clothesline collection from Little Yellow Bicycle. As well as the forementioned My Mind's Eye So Sophie Tags {which I trimmed the 1 to fit the Stampendous! Mini Clipboard}, some ribbons and trim, gold star brad and some Studio G stamps. I didn't want to make the large scallops on the sketch, on a masculine card, so I liked the idea of that blue trim instead. Hope you likey!
