♥ Home is where the best memories are made ♥ MOJO 483

Its been awhile since I've had any time to craft other than for DT stuff but since today it's snowing out and the kids are home from school I decided to make a little card while the kids were outside playing in the white stuff! This week's Mojo Monday Sketch is the culprit that made me want to craft! Love this sketch! It was just perfect to use with the beautiful Vintage Finds paper pad by Teresa Collins. Love these papers!!

I paired the papers up with a super fun Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Door Plate and Knob as well as the fabulous Home Is Clear Stamp Set by Technique Tuesday. I finished the card off with some May Arts Natural Twine, a pearl and a Prima Crystal Heart. The circles were die cut using the Pinpoint Circle Layers Die Set by Memory Box.

Here is the fabulous Mojo Monday 483 Sketch!

Hope you all enjoy your day!

♥ life is measured in moments....MOJO442 ♥

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Sunday. I'm stopping in today because I wanted to play along with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch. Such a fabulous sketch it is!

The papers I used are from the Cowboy Paper Pad by My Mind's Eye. This is an older paper pad but still one of my favorites.

I am also using some Provincial Collectables by KaiserCraft, a Prima flower and some white pearls.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

♥ Grandmas are moms... ♥ {MOJO331}

...with lots of Frosting. What a cute sentiment! This one definitely applies to my mom! My mom is the sweetest mom and grandma there is! No matter what, she is ALWAYS there for her children and grandchildren. Mom, I love you so much! ♥

I haven't had much time lately to participate in many challenges as I would like to, but as soon as I saw this weeks sketch over at the Mojo Monday Challenge Blog, I knew I had to use it! And I also knew I had to use the adorable Homemade With Love line by Carta Bella for it. Such a sweet line! Love the yummy pastel papers!

That sentiment that I cut from one of the papers is just too cute! This would make a sweet Valentine's Day card for a Grandma from the grandchildren! ;) I added a little somethin', somethin' to the card to give it a little sparkle...sequins and Liquid Pearls.

Here is the fabulous Mojo Monday Sketch! Love it!!

Today we lost an 8 year old in my family. A cousin on my dad's side. He was diagnosed with brain cancer when he was only 8 months old. The doctors said he would only live for a few days numerous times over the years. But he was so strong and kept on pushing. He was stronger than most adults I know. He was 1 month and 1 day away from his 9th birthday. He was born on the same day as my son, just a year earlier. So while he will be dearly missed, his suffering and pain is gone. So please say a prayer for Shawn and his family. Heaven has a new angel.

♥ Hug and kiss your children. ♥

♥ I made a Wish.... ♥

This is for this week's sketch over at the Mojo Monday blog. I decided to take a quick break from Christmas cards and wanted to make a girly card! Being surrounded by my 2 sons and hubby all the time, it's nice to do something "girly" for a change! hehe
It is made with gorgeous papers by The Girls' Paperie. (I ♥ those papers and company name!) I also used some gingham ribbon, a Little Yellow Bicycle sticker and of course, a Melissa Frances rub-on.

Here is the sketch:
Ok, now back to some Christmas projects! I am working on a fun "Snow Globe" that you can make out of a Cookie tin and a glass fish bowl! Wait until you see it! It is so fun and easy to make! It would make a great gift or centerpiece for a table! I will post pics soon! And don't forget about my current Giveaway posted below! I just might be throwing in some more stuff to the winner! ;)

Have a wonderful day!!

Hugs & Much love.....

♥ Country Kitchen ♥ A {Shabby Retro} Recipe Box and Card

When I saw this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room, I immediately fell in love! The colors and image was so inspiring, especially since I had been wanting to alter this recipe box for a long time and this was just the push I needed to do it! I couldn't wait to break out my Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen papers, cutouts and rub-ons for this project!
Aren't those mini pots and utensils adorable? I picked them up awhile ago at Joann's and couldn't wait to use them one day. This was just the right project for them! I made the large "rolling pin" on the recipe box from a wooden spool, ribbon and some Melissa Frances Chandelier Drops. The mini ones on the card were made with mini spools, ribbon, paper and beads.
I also used some Maya Road chipboard alphas, crocheted ribbon and some of Debbie's seam binding ribbon.

The card uses this week's sketch over at The Mojo Monday Blog.
Here is the gorgeous Shabby Tea Room Inspiration photo:
And the Mojo Madness Sketch:
And last but not least, here are some Halloween photos of my 2 son's. Antonio was Thomas the Train and Santino was a lion! Antonio had a blast Trick or Treating with his cousins.

I will be having a FUN GIVEAWAY shortly! SO stay tuned for that! Have a wonderful day!
