♥ Home is where the best memories are made ♥ MOJO 483

Its been awhile since I've had any time to craft other than for DT stuff but since today it's snowing out and the kids are home from school I decided to make a little card while the kids were outside playing in the white stuff! This week's Mojo Monday Sketch is the culprit that made me want to craft! Love this sketch! It was just perfect to use with the beautiful Vintage Finds paper pad by Teresa Collins. Love these papers!!

I paired the papers up with a super fun Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Door Plate and Knob as well as the fabulous Home Is Clear Stamp Set by Technique Tuesday. I finished the card off with some May Arts Natural Twine, a pearl and a Prima Crystal Heart. The circles were die cut using the Pinpoint Circle Layers Die Set by Memory Box.

Here is the fabulous Mojo Monday 483 Sketch!

Hope you all enjoy your day!

♥ JustRite Friday Challenge #108 ♥

Hi there peeps!! Just wanted to stop in with a card I made for the current JustRite Friday Challenge. This time it is to use this sketch! Love the simplicity of it, yet you could use it many different ways!

I decided to just use it as is, pretty much. Couldn't wait to use the Christmas Gifts Vintage Labels Two Cling Stamp Set by JustRite. I also used the Vintage Labels Two Die Set by JustRite as well. Love that vintage "Toy Emporium" label! Too cute!!

The Vintage Toy Label goes perfectly with that vintage toy paper by Pink Paislee from the City Sidewalks line.

You still have until tomorrow evening to get your card in for this challenge!! Just visit the JustRite Blog for details!!

Have a wonderfully sweet day!!

Hello friend.

Stopping in with a shabby chic card for ya! Here is a fun card I made with some beautiful Farmhouse papers by October Afternoon. Love these papers! That beautiful silhouette image is from The Graphics Fairy.

I also used some vintage trim, lace, buttons, mini roses, wooden spool, glitter, thread and a Jenni Bowlin stick pin. All on a kraft cardstock base.

I used the fabulous sketch over at Totally Papercrafts for this card.

And I was also inspire to make this by this week's City Crafter Challenge, Back to Black. It is to use a black silhouette image on your card.

And also this week's challenge at The Kraft Journal is to use your favorite colors. Love kraft, cream, pink and blue together!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I really appreciate all your sweet comments! Don't forgot to check back in on the 18th! It's my 40th Birthday! And I'll be celebrating it all with you with another BIG giveaway!

Bye for now friend!

♥ Your Heart shines like the Sun ♥

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful day so far! This card is another one that I made for this week's Papercraft Star sketch. It is such a fun sketch, I had to make another! I am also using this week's challenge over at the City Crafter Challenge Blog. It is called "Let the Sunshine in" and it is to use a sun or the word sun on your card. I did both!

I first made my sun from twisting some yellow ribbon and then hot gluing it to a punched circle. I then added some glitter and a pearl and some ribbon rays. I printed the sentiment out from MS Word. And the papers are by My Mind's Eye called Bloom and Grow.

Here again is the sketch~

I was also inspired by the following challenges:

Crafts and Me Challenge Blog: Summertime
Creative Belli Blog: Custom Made Bellies
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown: Fun in the Sun #57
Paper Playtime: Ch #50 Summer

Have a great night!

♥ Diamonds...pearls...hearts...love! ♥

I ♥ this week's challenge over at the Papercraft Star Challenge blog! It is a fabulous sketch! I had so much fun with this one, that I made 2 cards with it.
This first one is my favorite! I love all the pearls and "diamond" hearts. (Which I pain stakingly put on 1 by 1! Whew!) I used some beautiful papers by Making Memories, Graphic 45 and Creative Imaginations. Also some Prima and Martha Stewart flowers, MS punched butterflies, a small wooden heart drenched in pink candy glitter, pink satin ribbon and a Melissa Frances rub-on.
On the second card I used some Echo Park and Making Memories papers, Little Yellow Bicycle cut-out Lollipop, which I added some pink trim to, a Making Memories gem frame, red ribbon, a Melissa Frances rub-on and some felt hearts and a pearl heart.
Here is the awesome sketch:
I am also using this week's Tuesday Trigger from the Moxie Fab World blog for the 1st card. What a gorgeous photo! I was inspired by those candy hearts...hence my pink candy coated wooden heart!
I am also entering the 1st card into the following challenges:

~ City Crafter Challenge Blog: All you need is Love
~ Flutter By Wednesday: Anything Goes (with a butterfly!)
~ Crazy 4 Challenges: C4C72 Shabby Chic
~ {Cupcake Inspirations}: Challenge 96 This yummy inspiration photo!
The 2nd card I am also entering into this week's Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings challenge, Pink, Red and White theme.

Have a great day! Oh, and I will be having a great giveaway soon! ;)
