I am sooo bad about sewing on LOs and cards. I use to sew when I was younger and then one day gave it up! Not sure why but the other day my little great niece was visiting and needed a patch put on her pants. As I got the dusty sewing box out and found the needle and thread, she watched with such interest. It made me think that maybe I should take it up and help her learn. Maybe this will be the day!

This is my first visit here. I was sent by Lil Bit's blog. I love the look of stitched cards, but have never done it myself. My machine is old, clunky, heavy and just doesn't sew right. I used to sew on my scrapbook pages until my sewing machine started going a little crazy. It makes noises on zig zag stitches. :( So sad! Maybe with a new sewing machine I can try again! :)

Hi Melissa, Unbelievable candy you are very generous and with any luck my daughter and I will win this once in a lifetime chance! It's on my Bucket list -Learn to sew properly!
So far I can do hems and blanket stitch but this prize is a whole new world. I'd love to tackle a quilt, make doll's clothes and use it in my cardmaking!

Holy cow..just had to comment about the AMAZING blog candy you have here. Don't expect to win, and that's ok, but yes, I do stitch on my cards, but more than anything, I need a great machine to do some much needed mending on some clothing. (I know..who uses their machine for clothes any more???)
I have seen many beautiful images made from sewing machines on cards and scrapbook pages. I do not have one so I haven't tried it. I enjoy making the faux sewing lines with hole punches and white markers. Thank you for the chance at winning this great prize.

I have only sewn my cards and layouts by hand. My big sewing machine doesn't work anymore so I have never gotten a chance to use it to sew on paper. It died making a dress for my daughter LOL.

I love the look of sewing on cards and layouts but ....wait for it....I don't have a sewing machine... (really!) So all the sewing I do is by hand and I have 5 kids and barely time enough to actually scrap let alone hand sew. So I would really LOVE to win this!!
