Simon Says...Anything Goes!!

Hello! It's Wednesday! And that means it's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's theme is...ANYTHING GOES! 

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Lawn Fawn. I made a couple of cute little treat filled Halloween pillow boxes using the Scripty For You die and some sweet Cord twine in Tangerine and  Black Tie. I also used the super sweet Stitched Pumpkins Dies by Simon Says Stamp. The pillow box is by Simple Stories but it's currently out of stock but Lawn Fawn has a cute pillow box die. :)

♥ A Shimmery WISH ♥

♥ A Vintage Halloween Card ♥

Happy Friday!! What are your plans for the weekend? Our son, Antonio, has a Halloween Soccer Tournament tomorrow, which is expected to last most of the day. So that's where we'll be! Sunday is church and then spending time with the kids and then I have some creating to do! ;)

I wanted to stop in today with a sweet, vintage Halloween card made with some SPOOK-tacular goodies from the iralamija shop on Etsy! I am using the Harvest Collage Background papers, Spooky Tags Collage and that sweet mason jar is from the Halloween Jars Collage.  

The sweet bats are actually one of the "fillers" for the jars from the Halloween Jars Collage.

I hope you stop by the iralamija shop to see all of the amazing shabby chic, vintage digital collages that are in the shop!! I'm not one to promote digital images much except for these!! I could use them every day, if I had to! ;)

♥ Simon Says...Wrap It Up! ♥

Hello! It's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want you to...WRAP IT UP!  You can make your own gift wrapping, a tag, a card with some ribbon or twine wrapped around it, etc. 

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by May Arts. I love the Natural Twine by May Arts. I used it on almost everything I make! I can't help it!! ;) And that spool lasts forever!!

That pretty Snowflake Die is by Memory Box. The sentiment is from the new For To Us Clear Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamps new Create Joy Release.

I also used some HA Pearls, Black StazOn Ink and the Lipstick Red Ink by Simon Says.

♥ Little Wooden Halloween Basket ♥

Hi there! Stopping in with a cute little wooden basket perfect for Halloween or any Holiday or Occasion!

I used some sweet collages from the iralamija shop to make it. The papers are from the Harvest Collage and I also used the Spooky Tags Collage too. The iralamija shop has lots of different tags and papers for all holidays and occasions. So these baskets can be changed out with any theme you like! :)

I used a sweet little wooden basket that you can pick up at Michael's. I first trimmed some paper to fit along the front and back of the basket. Adhere with hot glue.

 
I then added some trim along the front and back and some sheer orange bows on the sides of the handles.

I then added twine bows onto the sheer bows as well as buttons and 2 of the cute Spooky Tags. The tags are great because they can be re-sized to any size you like by using any simple Photo Editing Software.

I then filled the inside with some burlap.

They make a sweet gift or candy holder for someone special.

They would also look cute filled with a little bag of nuts or chocolates and then add names to the tags and use them as a Place card Setting on your Holiday Table. Your guests will also have a parting gift for them to take home as a little gift!

♥ Silver and Gold Wreath Clear Tags ♥

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday! Today we had a soccer game, a Birthday Party, yard work and shopping to do but now it's time for this Momma to get some craftin' time in! :) Have you seen the new Create Joy Release by Simon Says Stamp? So many amazing new stamp and die sets! I know my Wish List is full! I wanted to show you 2 tags I made using the new Ornament Wreath Die. What a fun die to use! I die cut the wreaths using the Deco Sheets Tim Holtz. Love the silver and gold sparkle on these! This die is perfect to use on a Christmas card, tag or even to make some cute ornaments for the tree!

To make my tag, I just simply cut a piece of strong acetate into a tag shape. I then inked the edges with the Simon Says White Ink Pad and then while still wet, I sprinkled on some Doodlebug Sugar Coating White Glitter.

I finished off the tags with some May Arts Natural Twine, Simon Says Moonshine Sequins and Big Scripty Greetings Holiday Clear Stamp Set, some pearls and white satin ribbon.

Have you seen the new Simon Says Stamp "Create Joy" Release? They are now available starting today! So many new beautiful stamp sets and dies! You can see all of the new products HERE!

                    

Here is a card I made with the new Snowflake Banner Die from the release. It is so pretty and fun! I die cut it out a few times using some different color papers and the paper pieced it back together. Love this die!

The stamped Merry Christmas is from the Big Scripty Greetings Holiday Stamp Set by Simon Says Stamp too. Love that set as well!! ;)

Be back tomorrow with another card using a new product from the "Create Joy" release!
