♥ Simon Says...Food and/or Drink! ♥

Happy Thanksgiving Eve here in the U.S. What are your plans?  I am cooking enough food to feed an army! :) Love Thanksgiving! And then this weekend is the start of Christmas decorating around here! It usually takes me about a week and a half to finish. So it should be a fun, long weekend!!

We have a new challenge starting today at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! FOOD and/or DRINK...is our challenge to you!

The Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Mama Elephant. I am using the Sticky Notes Clear Stamp Set for my sweet little cookie holders. :) What's better than opening up your lunch box as a kid and getting a sweet treat along with a "note" from Mom! These sweet set is perfect for that as well as many other creative things.

The kraft bags are by Doodlebug Design but Mama Elephant has a sweet Favor Bag Die that works just as well! :)

Just the right little package for a homemade chocolate chip cookie!

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ Christmas Wonderland ♥

I can't believe it's only 37 days until Christmas? My favorite time of year! I LOVE to decorate my home for Christmas. I also love the smells of Christmas...the twinkling lights...the gathering of friends and family...making Christmas cards...but most importantly, I love to see the excitement and joy in my kids eyes. Nothing like it! Yesterday, my sweet husband surprised us with a 6 foot plus tall Santa I had been admiring in the store. I don't know who was more excited...me or my 7 year old! :)

I'm definitely in the holiday spirit for sure now! So why not make a Christmas card with some beautiful Spellbinders Dies by Amazing Paper Grace! For my card, I am using the Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large Etched Dies. Such stunning, intricate dies yet sturdy enough to use as the base for my card.

I die cut the Swirl Frame twice using dark green cardstock and patterned paper. I then adhered the patterned paper die cut over the green cardstock to give it some dimension.

I added lots of chunky glitter to all the edges with some Glossy Accents to give it a "frosty, icy" look. The papers are from the Sweet Peppermint Paper Pad by Prima.

Don't forget to check out the rest of Becca's new Chantilly Paper Lace Collection !

♥ For You ♥

Hi there! It's Friday!! Although all week I kept forgetting what day it was due to the kids being off of school all week for Teacher's Convention. But I'm still glad it's the weekend because that means hubby is home too! We have family coming to visit tomorrow and then Sunday is football day in our house! My husband makes pizza on that day so it's an easy day for me! ;) What are your plans for the weekend?

I'm stopping in today with a super quick, easy yet elegant card made with some new and older dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. I used the new Hannah Elise Layering Frame Dies which I layered over the large frame die from the Annabelle's Trousseau Layering Frame Medium Etched Dies. Both sets of dies are from the new Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca.

The sweet little tag is from the Graceful Tiny Tag and Stamp Set. I finished it off with some pearls, satin ribbon and a vintage broach.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

♥ Hemstitch Ovals ♥

Hello there! Today, I have card that I made with the new Spellbinders Hemstitch Ovals Etched Dies from the Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Amazing Paper Grace. These dies are gorgeous!

Love working with these dies! Every die Becca designs is just truly stunning! Such a treat that I get to design for her! These Hemstitch Ovals are beautiful by themselves or would go nicely layered with a number of her other dies as well! The papers I used are from the Rose Avenue Paper Pad by KaiserCraft.

Hope you have an Amazing day! ;)
