♥♥ For my Shimmerz Post, please scroll down! Thank you! ♥♥
Hello. First, I just want to say thank you for all of the comments, emails and cards I received. I really appreciate all of your kind, sweet and comforting words. And a big thank you to Heidi. I loved the beautiful book that you sent me. So uplifting. Thank you. ♥
Now onto the new challenge from the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! It's every one's favorite....ANYTHING GOES!
And the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Ranger! So much goodness there, that's for sure!! I used several different Ranger products for my tag. I first started by cutting my own tag out of some Distress Cardstock by Tim Holtz. Then using my Mini Round Ink Blending Tool, I added some different color inks to my tag starting with the darkest color on the bottom and working up to the lightest. I used the following inks...Broken China, Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint and Squeezed Lemonade. I then added some Walnut Stain Ink to the edges of the tag and some Milled Lavender Ink to the butterfly. Then I gave a little spray of some Tumbled Glass and Bundled Sage Distress Spray to the tag. The seam binding ribbon was also sprayed with the Tumbled Glass Distress Spray as well.
The sentiment is from the Tim Holtz Good Thoughts Cling Stamp Set. I also used the Bubble Stencil by Tim Holtz. The Texture Paste I used is by Ranger as well as the White Opal Liquid Pearls.
The die cut butterfly is the Chrissy Butterfly Die by Simon Says Stamp. I also some Moonshine sequins by SSS, May Arts Natural Twine, some assorted Prima flowers and ruler trim.
And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
