Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! Every one's favorite...ANYTHING GOES!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Hero Arts. I chose the Chalkboard Merry Christmas Stamp for my card. I also used some Medium sized Hero Arts pearls as well.

The woodgrain paper is from the Kaiser Base Coat Release III paper pack. I also used the Lots of Snowflakes Clear Stamp set by Simon Says Stamp from the STAMPtember® release as well as the new Caribbean Blue Ink Pad by Simon Says and Surf Blue and Audrey Blue inks too!

♥ Tag...You're It! ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone! Well, I could be happier here though! My Fall allergies are already in high gear! Ugh! Could be worse though, I guess! ;)  It's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want to see... TAGS! You can make a gift tag or add one to a project or card!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by the fabulous Mr. Tim Holtz! ;) I started off with a #8 Manila Tag by Ranger. I added some Collage Paper by TH to the base of the tag. I also used some Legacy Paper by Simple Stories as well. The "Fine Rubber Stamps" Stamp is a new stamp by Tim Holtz. Love it!! ;) I stamped it in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I also used a Prima Zipper, paper roses, lace trim, White Opal Liquid Pearls by Ranger, parts of a paper doily, seam binding ribbon, Rose Washi Tape, the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch and the Happy Birthday Stamp by TH.

♥ A Winter Scene ♥

Hi there everyone! Just stopping in quickly with a card I made with some new Simon Says Stamp products! I used the Snowfall Assortment Stamps and Dies Set by Simon Says for our STAMPtember® release! Love me some snowflakes!! I layered three of the dies and then added lots of glitter to them as well as a Twine bow and pearl!

I used the Christmas Scene Stencil by SSS. I traced the hills onto a piece of white cardstock, cut them out and then coated them with some Glossy Accents and some Chunky Glitter. I adhered them to the front of my card using some foam mounting tape on just the ends. It gives the front of the card a rounded look like 3-D. After inking the tree with the stencil, I added some Gesso to it to act as snow.

I also used the new Inside Holiday Greetings Clear Stamp Set and the new Caribbean Blue Ink pad as well as the Audrey Blue Ink Pad all by Simon Says Stamp! :)

♥ Simon Says...Make your Own Background! ♥

Happy Wednesday to you! We're half way there peeps!! ;)

It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want you to...Make Your Own Backgrounds! You can use stamps, stencils, paints whatever you like!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing Gelatos by Faber-Castell. I made the background on my card using the Designing with Gelatos Kit. I just ran some of the colors across my piece of cardstock, rubbed it in with my fingers, spritzed it with a little bit of water (the kit includes a mini spritzer) and then blended it in again with my finger. There is also a tube of Gesso included in the kit as well as a stamp, stencil, drip dropper, paintbrush, a Swatch Journal and a 24 page Design Guide. There are 10 different Gelatos in the kit.

I added some of the Gesso to the heart stamp from the Simon Says Stamp Chalkboard Love Clear Stamp Set and stamped the image directly onto my card front. The fab sentiment and little row of hearts is also from the set. I punched some butterflies out of the corrugated paper included in the kit and added some color to them with the Gelatos. I finished off the card with some May Arts Natural Twine and some White Opal Liquid Pearls.

We are showcasing the new STAMPtember® products that have just been released. CLICK HERE to see them all. It is a HUGE release with loads of fabulous stamps, dies, stencils and much more !

Now, for my cards! :)  For this 1st card, I used the new super cute Trick or Treat Clear Stamp Set by Simon Says. The "Dracula kitty" and "mummy puppy" are just too sweet! Great sentiments too!

I used papers from the Mister Fox Paper Pad by Kaiser as well as some Doodlebug Halloween Twine, White Glitter and a Wood Dot by My Mind's Eye.

The next card uses the new Christmas Scene Stencil and Inside Holiday Greetings Clear Stamp Set By Simon Says. (Which works for both inside and outside of cards! ;)

I used paper by Simple Stories,  some White Opal Liquid Pearls, May Arts Natural Twine and lots of  Chunky Glitter! I made the "snow hill" by simply "filling in" the stencil with some Glossy Accents and then the glitter.

And finally, this is the card I sent to Heidi for her Birthday. I used the Simon Says Balloon Dies and Birthday Messages Clear Stamp Set.

Because of the large and odd shape of the card, I had to make my own "envelope". So I used the Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin Flourish Emblem Die and some pink and kraft cardstock. :)
