♥ Simon Says... Anything Goes! ♥

It's another fun 'Anything Goes' challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! Just link your creation at the SSS Challenge Blog for your chance to win a fabulous prize!!

This week the Simon Says DT are featuring Paper Smooches stamps by the ever so talented Kim Hughes! I am using this adorable set called "Surf and Turf". So many sweet little images to choose from!

I stamped the fish onto some white cardstock, cut them out and colored them in with some Copics, then added them to my punched circle. I then added some Hero Arts pearls to act as the air bubbles and then coated the entire thing with some Ranger Crackle Accents to give it that glossy, cracked look.

 I also used some paper by Heidi Swapp from the Sugar Chic 6x6 Paper Pad. As well as some Liquid Pearls, twine and adhesive mesh.

♥ A {JustRite} Pin Cushion Jar ♥

Hi everyone!! I haven't forgotten about my Spring giveaway! Just been too busy to get it on here! But I will shortly! Promise!! ;)

 I have been wanting to make one of these pin cushion jars for ages! But as soon as I got my new Grandma's Attic Background Stamp by JustRite and then saw the current JustRite Friday challenge, Perfect Pastels,  I knew I just had to make this!

 Love this new Grandma's Attic Background Stamp! So sweet! Love the buttons, dress form and the cute little needle and thread along the bottom! (which I covered with some real thread and needle) It can be filled with buttons, spools of thread, it would even make a wonderful Mother's Day gift filled with old pictures in it!

The pin cushion is super easy to make! All I did was fill a little organza wedding favor bag with fiberfill, remove the string used to tie it closed, and then simply sew the opening shut with white thread. Instant pin cushion! I filled it with some handmade stick pins by the sweet Elise!

♥ Simon Says...use Dawny's Sketch! ♥

Hi sweet friends! Hope you all are having a super fabulous week this far! This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is sure to get you in the creating mood! It is a wonderful sketch by our own Dawny! It can be turned around on its side, upside down however you want to use it. And you can not only use it for a card but it would also be perfect for a scrapbook layout as well! Just take a look at my awesomely talented teamie Joy's LO!! Awesome, isn't it?!!

The Simon Says DT is featuring products this week by American Crafts and/or Martha Stewart! I chose the new Neopolitan line by American Crafts. Love the sweet pastel papers in the 6x6 Paper Pad.

I also used the ever so fun Neopolitan Mason Jar Stamp. Such a cute little stamp set!! It comes with the little heart stamp as well as a little star, flower and strawberry! So sweet! I also used a paper rose, twine, Liquid Pearls in White Opal and a Martha Stewart Heart Punch.

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far! I sneaked in a few minutes to myself early this morning and made a sweet little card. I was browsing the web and stopped by The Play Date Cafe for a little morning inspiration and Wow! When I saw this week's color challenge, I just had to make a card right away! And I knew just what goodies I wanted to use too! The ever so sweet papers and chipboard by Cosmo Cricket's new line, Tea for Two.

Just love the beautiful summery papers in this line.

The chipboard pieces are just the cutest ever! And that sweet ATC tag is by Chic Tags. ♥ Note to self: I need to get me some more of those! ;)

Well, today is going to be a fun day! My 6 yr old son will be playing in his 2nd baseball game today! He looks so cute in his uniform. I can't wait to watch him out on the field!

♥ Simon Says... April Showers bring Spring Flowers! ♥

This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is all about flowers! We want to see flowers on your cards! They can be paper flowers, stamped flowers, stickers, etc! As long as it blooms, we want to see it!! ;)

This week the Simon Says DT is featuring products by either Bo Bunny or Basic Grey. I chose to use Bo Bunny. The papers and stamped butterfly is from the Country Garden collection. Such sweet papers! The seed packets are cut out from one of the papers.

I also used some mulberry roses from Prima, some seam binding, a Melissa Frances rub-on transfer and some Liquid pearls in White Opal.

Getting ready for Easter! Making baskets...coloring eggs...preparing my Easter dinner menu...Easter cards...watching my kiddos get excited!(the best part!) Are you all ready for the Easter Bunny? And by the way, wasn't it just Christmas?? Whew!

Here is a colorful card that I made for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch. Love this sketch! I used some papers from the new line by Heidi Swapp, Sugar Chic. What super fabulous papers! Love the animal prints!

I also used s Sugar Chic Bowtie (so cute!), Liquid Pearls, some Cosmo Cricket stickers and some gorgeous stick pins made by my sweet friend Elise!

♥ Simon Says... Use your Favorite Tool! ♥

This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is all about your favorite tool! Maybe it's the Cuttlebug, your Cricut, or maybe just a simple paper trimmer or paper distresser! So break out your favorite tool and create something with it and then link it up at the Simon Says Blog for your chance at a fabulous prize!

My favorite tool is my Prima paper distresser! I love the look it gives the edges of papers and cardstock. And one of my other faves is Spellbinders Grand Calibur! Love that machine!!

I decided to make an Easel Card for a change. The papers I used are from Pink Paislee's Spring Jubilee Paper Pack. The stamps are also from Pink Paislee, Spring Jubilee Clear Stamp Set. I also used Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circles Dies, Liquid Pearls, lace and some seam binding ribbon.
