♥ Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit ♥

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm still itching all over with this poison ivy! Ugh! I hate it!! Thank you all so much for all the well wishes and tips! I really appreciate it!

I just wanted to stop in quickly and show you some cards made with the September Card Kit, Journey Of Life,  from Simon Says Stamp, that is available now HERE. Another gorgeous kit!!

Since this kit has a chalkboard theme to it, I thought I would make a chalkboard shape card.

On the chalkboard leg, I stamped the "Missing you Already" first with the Colorbox White Ink that comes in the kit and then slightly off with some Black ink.

On this card, I used one of the My Mind's Eye papers as the focal point.

In the kit, is a cute Banners Stencil. I colored in one of the banners with a soft pastel chalk, cut it out and then stamped the "Missing you Already" onto it.

This card focuses more on some of the sentiment and cute and fun stamps in the kit.

Love that chevron stamp!

♥ Simon Says...Monochromatic ♥

Hi friends!! Before I get started on today's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge I just wanted to ask if any of you have ever had Poison Ivy? I have had it now for a few days and I am ready to try anything to get rid of it! It is the worst!! It is so itchy, I feel like I want to rip my skin off! :( Anyone have any natural home remedies? I already tried swimming in the ocean (supposedly the sea water is supposed to help!), Calamine lotion, Witch Hazel, White Vinegar and Baking Soda, taking Vitamin C, swimming in my pool, hot showers, cold showers, you name it, I think I tried it! So if anyone knows of anything, please let me know. I would really appreciate it! :)

So on to today's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! This week we want to see Monochromatic cards!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Paper Smooches! I chose this cute clear stamp set called Whirligigs. I stamped the images in a couple different shades of green inks on white cardstock. I used a scallop circle punch on one of them and cut the other two out with scissors.

The base paper on the card is by Magnolia Ink and is called Sage Kitchen Cloth. Such a fun paper! I also used a beautiful die by Cottage Cutz called Bella Leafy Branch. I ran the die through my Grand Calibur Machine twice, first using a light green cardstock and then a darker green cardstock. I "filled in" some of the light green leaves with some of the darker green cardstock. The "Smile" stamp is from Ali Edwards Favorite Memories Clear Stamp Set.

♥ Simon Says...Triangles ♥

It's that time again!! Time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week we want to see Triangles! It can be...stamped triangles...a triangle shaped card...triangle buttons...etc. Just have fun with it!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by The Crafter's Workshop! You don't have to use them, but if you have them, we would love to see them! I chose to use 2 different templates on my photo card. I used the Mini Circus Banners Template to make the green "arrows" and the Mini Tri Mosaic Template to make the pink "arrows" on the background.

That great sentiment is from Ali Edwards Clear Stamp Set called "Simply You". Such a wonderfully sweet set! I also used some Kelly Purkey Cream Sequins, Hero Arts Pearls, a Prima Crystal Heart and some seam binding.
