Here is a little candle stick nightlight with a matching card that I made for the nursery. It went along with a few challenges too! This week's challenge on the Play Date Cafe was to make something using the colors light blue, light green and off white. Perfect for this! And yesterday's Ways to Use it Challenge on SCS was to use chipboard on your project/card, which I used plenty of! The star base on the nightlight, mini stars and abc's are all Maya Road chipboard pieces which I painted light green or blue, then distressed the edges with white paint and then added some glitter to them. The night light is so fun to make, I think I will make some more for a boy and girl and sell them in my store!!
I then made a matching card using this week's sketch from the Mojo Monday blog! Here is the sketch and the card!
They look so cute on the bookshelf in the nursery.
Happy May Day and National Scrapbooking Day everyone! (Saturday!) Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hugs...
