♥ Simon Says...Anything Goes! ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's time for another challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! It's time again for Anything Goes!! This time we are switching it up a bit though! We want you to use twine and/or string on your creation!

This week the Simon Says Stamp DT are showcasing products by Mama Elephant! They have the cutest stamp sets! I chose the On Target Clear Stamp Set since Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Love the cute bulls-eye and with all of the stamps that are in this set, it can be changed up so many different ways. Very cute!!

I used some Sweet Candy Twine by Maya Road  and some Natural Twine by May Arts. The paper is from the Teresa Collins Vintage Finds 6x6 Paper Pad. I finished off the card with some Clear Sequins, a Hero Arts Pearl and some Prima Crystal Hearts.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

I had some unexpected things come up the past week so I didn't get my Birthday Giveaway up as planned but it will be up tomorrow! So make sure you come back and check it out!! ;)

Have a sweet day/night!

♥ Shabby Chic Valentine...for a DUDE!? ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone!! The snow and cold is back upon us here in the Northeast! I love it!! No school, the kids are happy playing in the snow and making snow angels and a snowman again. Hot chocolate for everyone! A nice warm fire in the fireplace. Board games. Snuggling on the couch! So fun!!

It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is called "Let's have a Laugh"! We want to see funny/humorous cards! :)

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing stamps by Paper Smooches! They have the cutest stamps! I chose the Slang Gang Clear Stamp Set for my card. So many fun slang words in this set that can be used for a lot of different types of cards. You don't see many shabby chic cards for a guy out there! Do you? So I thought, why not add the "DUDE" on the bottom! :)

I made the little sticks of dynamite by just rolling some strips of red cardstock and then added some Maya Road Sweet Candy Twine to it. I also used the new Large Heart Doily Die by Simon Says Stamp, a Doodlebug Pink Cupcake Doily, some Prima Crystal Hearts, lace and seam binding. The paper is from the My Mind's Eye Ruby 6x6 Paper Pad.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

I had a great birthday last Saturday! I didn't have to cook at all the entire day! Woo-hoo! Now, that was a great present! ;) I didn't forget about my {belated} Birthday Giveaway! I promise to have it up sometime this week! :)

Have a wonderfully fun day!

♥ Simon Says...Emboss it! ♥

♥ Happy Birthday sweet Jo!! I hope you have a wonderful day today!! Big birthday hugs to you....

Happy Wednesday everyone!! It's time to get those embossing folders and/or the embossing powders out!! It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! We want to see embossed cards this time! You can heat or dry emboss or how about trying some embossing paste!?! As long as there is some type of embossing on your card, we want to see it! :)

So this week, the Simon Says DT are showcasing Embossing Folders.  For my card, I used 2 different embossing folders by Cuttlebug. I used the Woodgrain folder on the kraft cardstock and the Rosa folder on the pink cardstock. Love the Rosa folder!!

I also used the January Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp. Love the sweet Fancy Pants tickets that come in the kit. I just added the Prima Crystal Heart and the Prima Rose.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

♥ Icy Inspiration ♥

Hi there everyone! Boy did I have a scare!! Someone hacked my Blogger Account! And then removed me from having access to my own blog! I thought I lost 7 years of blogging to a hacker from Morocco!! I didn't want to start all over that's for sure! Thank God Blogger was able to remove him and give my blog back to me! I have a question for you all though! Do you think I should move my blog to TypePad, WordPress or stay here on Blogger? ETA: Not really that they are safer just wondering which you like better! I was thinking of switching before this happened, so I thought maybe this is the time to do it! Looking for input! :)

Well, it's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

This time we have this fabulous Mood Board for you created by our own super talented Laura! So anything snowy or icy!! :)

The Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Glitter Ritz and/or Distress Glitter by Tim Holtz! I used the gorgeous Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter by TH! Love this stuff! It has just the right amount of sparkle! And it comes in lots of different colors as well! Check them out HERE!

I made this Mason Jar Keepsake using the super fun White Clip Show Topper by Cosmo Cricket! It has the clip on the top for a picture or whatever you want to out in there and then on the underside of the lid, is a little hook where you can hang things from it! Brilliant!! I hung a Kate Snowflake drenched in the Glitter from the hook using some Twine.

I printed out the picture of my kids in Sepia and then I added some Glossy Accents to the snowman that my kids and hubby made and then added some more of the glitter. I also added some glitter to the actual Show Topper and to the mason jar itself also with the Glossy Accents. The stamped sentiment is from the Frosty Sentiments Stamp Set by C.C. Designs.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

A BIG thank you to all of my Simon Says Teamies!! You all are the BEST!!

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

♥ Happy New Year! ♥

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope that 2014 brings us all peace, happiness and good health!

And speaking of New...it's time for a NEW challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog!

This week our challenge to you is "Something NEW"! New Year, New Car, New Baby, New Home, New Craft Supplies, etc!

And this week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by My Favorite Things. I chose to use the clear stamp set called none other than "New Beginnings"! It is full of some great sentiments and quotes! And not just for the New Year but for other milestones as well! I also used the Stacking Star Die-Namics by MFT as well! Those can be used all year long!! ;)

For the sparkly stars, I added some strips of Silver Glitter Tape to some cardstock and then die cut the stars out of it. I also used some Gold Glitter Tape along the border. Next to the gold tape, I added some Glossy Accents by Ranger and then some chunky glitter for some added sparkle. The Wooden Clock is by Prima. I finished it up with some Clear Sequins and Twine.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Have a wonderful first day to the New Year!
