♥ Especially for You ♥

Hi there! I love to have cards on hand that can be used for any occasion. You never know when you will need a little note card for someone. So here is an easy card that can be made quickly, yet it looks like you spent forever on it! I used the Adoria Square Shadowbox Frame Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. Love this Die set! It's perfect to frame a shadowbox with but also makes a great set to use on a card. So elegant!

♥ Hot Foiled Glimmered Rectangles ♥

Hello there. Stopping in today to share a card I recently made with some Amazing Paper Grace Dies and Glimmer Plates. Just love how all of her dies and plates can go together. And they make for some very elegant cards that looks like it took you forever to do but yet takes only minutes.

For this card, I am using the Callista Rectangle Shadowbox Frame Etched Dies as the base of the card. I then added the Gilded Nested Rectangle Glimmer Plates and Die Set in the center of the card. I used some foam dots to add more dimension. Love the new Champagne Glimmer Hot Foil by Spellbinders. It gives just the right amount of gold shimmer.

Have a super fabulous day!!

INTRODUCING THE GILDED AGE COLLECTION BLOG HOP

Greetings glimmeristas!    Today, we are launching The Gilded Age - a small glimmer collection with some exquisite plates.  Join us as we introduce five new Glimmer Sets (some with dies) and 1 brand new Die Set that has matching glimmer plates. We've eased into the beautiful habit of building card layers and layering frames with foil and the Spellbinders Glimmer Foil System.   These metal plates are just like stamps and can be used for letterpress and deep embossing as well as transferring gorgeous foils to many items.  Welcome to The Gilded Age Collection - Becca shares her inspiration below:

Inspiration for The Gilded Age

I have a romantic fascination with days gone by and the beautiful, fragile relics that survive to create our memories. The Gilded Age is a look back to a time when beautiful things were all around and each item had a story tied to it.  Fineries were hard earned and treasured, garnered with much pride and bathed with love and sentimental value.  Whether in art or clothes or architecture, the timeless glamour of the era thankfully punctuates our lives today.

It was an age where dreamers knew no bounds in decorating and inventing, paving the way for exquisite art, extravagant embellishment and a level of grandeur that defies simplicity.   We're fortunate that traces of the era live on.  One of our present day methods of gilding comes in the way of foiling. Once only able to be carried out at prints shops, it was an expensive process that signaled exceptional taste; your eyes can't help but be drawn to it.

In the collection, I've curated a couple of looks inspired by a ladies stationary desk.  A desk where she might sit a compose "Thank You" notes with care and attention to detail using her coveted fineries of the day.  Each plate in the collection delivers a mark that can be considered hallmarks of fine penmanship and papers.  I'm convinced that each of us has a mark, an indelible mark - the tools are there, calling out for us to use them.
My Project For Today:

I'm tickled to introduce GLP-118 Gilded Vines Glimmer Plates

Here is what the plates actually look like:

This plate can be used for so many different occasions. Perfect for a Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary or Thank You Cards! You can never have enough Thank You cards! So that is what I made with the plates and some of the new Spellbinders Foil Colors. And this plate comes with the matching die so you can die cut out the center, like I did. I added some foam dots behind the panel and stamped the sentiment on the bottom layer.

I used some of the new Spellbinders Glimmer Foils in GLF-026 Blush, GLF-015 Skybright and GLF-019 Fuchsia Flower. Look at all of that shimmer! Aren't they just glorious!

♥ Vintage Starburst Valance ♥

Hi there! Stopping in today with a quick and fun card that would be perfect for almost any occasion. I am using the Vintage Starburst Valance and Gatefold Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders. I simply die cut the large die multiple times in different shades of pinks and white. I then added a back to the white die cut and then "filled in" the die cut with the ombre shades of pinks. I then added some different sized pearls and ribbon. Such a fun Die!!

AMAZING PAPER GRACE MARCH DIE OF THE MONTH BLOG HOP

Do you ever suffer from blank page syndrome?  Or you clear your schedule and your table and sit down to make a card, and bam - your mind goes blank.  That's why we're here!  We love bringing you inspiration for the Die of the Month and today is our Die of the Month Blog Hop for March.

Since we all see things differently, it's our aim to show you how each of us approached designing with this die and the lovely pieces that are a part of it.  Our hope is that you snag a picture or two for your inspiration file and they come in handy next time you sit down to create.  Our list of links at the bottom of the post lead to all the inspiration.

The six pieces that make up Spun Blessings Oval combine to make a card front die, perfect for a background or you can creatively use all of the inlays for either accents or borders.  You may have noticed, it's a big die but the better to make alternative designs like the little baskets that help to create an ensemble.

If you want to find out more about the Club - prices, how you sign up and what's included, please look --------> HERE.
If you missed the introduction and want to know more about what inspired the Die of the Month Club, look ------->HERE.

My 1st Card Today:

For this card, I simply adhered the die cut on the front of my card base. I then added the sentiment panel in the center with some foam dots. I love the little X and O's!

For my 2nd Card:

On this card, I used the Die Cut as the actual card front. Love the intricate cuts on this die set! So beautiful! I added another die cut in gold poster board paper slightly off center behind the pink die for some pretty gold shadowing. (Click on pic for a closer look)

For my Final Project:

I made some simple Easter Treat Bags. I simply cut off each side of the full die cut to make the ovals or "Eggs". I then adhered them together onto a small plastic bag to form my egg. I then added some pearls, ribbons, flowers and bunny image to finish them off. Quick and Easy! These would be perfect to hang out in school for some Easter Treats. :)

More inspiration is just a click away.  Stop by with each Creative Team Member to see more!

♥ Easter Blessings to You! ♥

Hello. I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. I'm stopping in today with a fun and quick Easter Egg card that I made using the new Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders

I also used the beautiful Flutter Wing Butterfly Etched Dies. That set comes with 2 different size butterflies. This is the smaller one that I used on this card. I added a 2nd "egg" to the right of the larger one. I will write the name(s) of the recipient on that one for a more personalized card.

You can find all of Becca's gorgeous Dies HERE.

Have a great weekend!
