♥ Easter Blessings to You! ♥

Hello. I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. I'm stopping in today with a fun and quick Easter Egg card that I made using the new Lisette Oval Shadowbox Frame Etched Dies by Amazing Paper Grace for Spellbinders

I also used the beautiful Flutter Wing Butterfly Etched Dies. That set comes with 2 different size butterflies. This is the smaller one that I used on this card. I added a 2nd "egg" to the right of the larger one. I will write the name(s) of the recipient on that one for a more personalized card.

You can find all of Becca's gorgeous Dies HERE.

Have a great weekend!

♥ Easter Eggs and Butterflies ♥

Hello there! We have a brand new challenge starting today at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! It's ANYTHING GOES!!

The Simon Says DT are showcasing products this week by Stampendous! I am using the super pretty Butterflies Clear Stamp Set. This set has big, small and in between butterflies. Love it! So I decided to pretty up some plastic eggs with them for some Easter decor.

I painted some of the eggs with some Prima Opal Magic Aqua Rose Acrylic Paint. Love the shimmery color. (I need to get me more of this paint in different colors!) Other eggs I either wrapped in some pretty papers from the PhotoPlay French Flea Market Paper Pad (love!) or I added some Prima Pink Glitter or Diamond Dust Glitter to others.

I finished it off with some May Arts Natural Twine, pearls and Prima Flowers.  To form the base for the eggs, I simply hot glued some mini grapevine wreaths together and then hot glued some moss to them and then adhered the eggs. :)

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

So I'll take it! :) We just had 8 inches of snow last Thursday and no school for 2 days and now it's almost all melted and in the 50's! Feels like summer compared to what we had! ;) Hope the weather by you is nice!

♥ Simon Says...Emboss it! ♥

Good morning! I hope you all are having a great Summer so far! Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is...Emboss It! We want to see embossed cards. It can be heat embossed, dry embossed or you can use embossing paste.

I did some dry and heat embossing on my card. I first used the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder by Cuttlebug on the larger butterfly die cut. The Butterflies and Tag Dies are an exclusive by Simon Says Stamp.

I then heat embossed Friend on the tag using Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from the Friendship Butterflies Clear Stamp Set also by Simon Says Stamp.

I also used the Timeless Rectangles Dies by Spellbinders, some Doodlebug White Pearls, a Maya Road Heart Pin and some seam binding and lace trim. The large butterfly was die cut using some Cherry Wood Veneer Paper by Simon Says.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!
