♥ JustRite Friday Challenge #108 ♥

Hi there peeps!! Just wanted to stop in with a card I made for the current JustRite Friday Challenge. This time it is to use this sketch! Love the simplicity of it, yet you could use it many different ways!

I decided to just use it as is, pretty much. Couldn't wait to use the Christmas Gifts Vintage Labels Two Cling Stamp Set by JustRite. I also used the Vintage Labels Two Die Set by JustRite as well. Love that vintage "Toy Emporium" label! Too cute!!

The Vintage Toy Label goes perfectly with that vintage toy paper by Pink Paislee from the City Sidewalks line.

You still have until tomorrow evening to get your card in for this challenge!! Just visit the JustRite Blog for details!!

Have a wonderfully sweet day!!

♥ Pumpkin Kitty ♥

Hi there! Today is Wednesday and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

Halloween is just a little more than a week away, so that is our challenge to you this week...make a Halloween card and/or use Halloween Colors...
ORANGE...PURPLE...BLACK!

For my card today, I used this cute "Pumpkin Kitty" stamp by Impression Obsession. I just stamped it in black ink and colored in the images with some TH Distress Markers.

The papers I used are from the Pumpkin Patch 6x6 Paper Pad by American Crafts except the Purple Bat paper is by Magnolia. I die cut the papers using the Opulent Ovals Die Set by Spellbinders. I used some Foam Dots behind the die cut purple paper to raise the window out a bit.  The words were just cut from one of the American Crafts papers and matted onto a piece of orange paper. I finished up the card with some White Opal Liquid Pearls.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Lastly, my NY Giants finally got a win! Woo-Hoo! LOL Unfortunately though, it was at the expense of the Minnesota Vikings. My husband and oldest son are Vikings fans! (I am taking the little one! He will be a Giants fan!!:) My husband took Antonio to his first NFL game last night for Monday Night Football at Metlife Stadium. He had a blast! They were sitting on the 40 yard line only a few rows up from the field. He was so excited! He wants to go back this weekend! Even though the Vikings won't be there! :) Here he is before the game started.

Have a wonderful day!!

♥ Vintage Frosty ♥

Hi there my lovely friends! Are you ready for the Holidays yet? They will be here before we know it!! This week at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog we are getting a head start on those Christmas and Holiday Cards!!

As soon as I saw this cute Frosty the Snowman Cling Stamp by Prickley Pear, I knew I wanted to use it! Love the vintage Ad image. I simply stamped it in Black Ink and then colored in some of the image with some Tim Holtz Distress Markers. I added some white glitter to Frosty and I ran my paper distresser and some brown ink on the edges to make it look aged.

The papers I used are from the Merry Little Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad by Fancy Pants. I finished up the card with some Punched Snowflakes by Martha Stewart, satin ribbon, more glitter and some White Opal Liquid Pearls.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

A BIG thank you again for all of your love and support during our trying time! All of your sweet comments, thoughts and prayers meant everything!! :)

♥ My sad news! ♥

Hi Everyone! I'm sorry I am late with posting my $50 Visa Giveaway Winner! I had a minor setback the last couple of days. I wasn't going to share this on here but decided I am amongst friends. On Labor Day weekend, I wasn't feeling myself. Well, after having 2 kids, I know the signs. So I took a pregnancy test. And it was Positive! My husband and I were thrilled as we always wanted to have 3 children but we figured since we are getting older, it just wasn't going to happen. And we were ok with that, until we took the test. We felt complete as a family now. Well, God had other plans for us.

My first ultrasound was 2 weeks later and there on the screen I saw it! My heart sank! I looked over at my husband and his face was blank. There was the gestational sack but no little baby inside of it. They said maybe it's too early yet. So we waited a week, went back for another ultrasound, and still no baby. By this time, I was 9 weeks pregnant and there would definitely be a fetus and a heartbeat. We were devastated.

My Doctor said I could wait and try and miscarry naturally or have a Suction D&C. I decided to wait a week and see what happens. Nothing! So this past Monday morning I had to go in the hospital for the Suction D&C. I felt fine for the entire week until Friday. I had the worst cramps (I can handle pain) but these were pretty bad. I started bleeding and had the worst pain in my head I ever felt. But after calling the Doctor yesterday and going on medication, I am feeling better physically. Emotionally is another story.

Even though I accepted God's plan for us, for some strange reason, having the doctor remove the "pregnancy" from my body, which obviously wanted to be pregnant, as opposed to it going naturally, has hit me hard the past couple of days. Maybe my body's hormones are completely "out of whack". Or maybe because I am 41 years old and know I probably won't get pregnant again?  Whatever, the reason, it has been a hard couple of days. Thank God for the 2 beautiful and healthy children we do have! They are everything! They are the reason I still smile even though I am sad on the inside. They are amazing little boys!

But I am getting better. Today seems to be bringing on a change. Maybe because the sun is finally shining today! Whatever the reason, I am strong and will get through this. We will get through this.

So please bear with me 1 more day. And I promise I will post my winner sometime tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has known about this and given me so much support!! You all know who you are! ;) And to all of the rest of my "Bloggin' Friends", you are all the best! You all are the reason, why I do these giveaways!

Have a sweet day!

hugs and much love...

♥ Simon Says...Use a Rubber or Clear Stamp! ♥

Happy Hump Day!! It is time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This is an easy one!! Use a Rubber or Clear stamp on your card! Sorry, no digi's this week! We are going back to Basic Stamping!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing stamps by Clearly Besotted and/or Neat and Tangled. I chose 2 different stamp sets by Clearly Besotted. The beautiful leaves and flowers are from the Love Quotes Clear Stamp Set and I also used the Butterfly Wishes Additions Clear Stamp Set. I also used the Butterfly Wishes Die Collection as well.

The Love Quotes Set has so many beautiful sentiments in it. After I stamped the flowers from the set, I cut them out, curled the edges up a bit and then added some chunky white glitter to them before adhering them to the card front. I finished up the card with some White Opal Liquid Pearls and some lace trim.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Be back shortly with my final card for Guest Designing this week for JustRite!

Have a great day!
