♥ Simon Says...Anything Goes! ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's time for a brand new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This week it's 'Anything Goes'! As long as it involves paper, we want to see it!! ;)

This week the Simon Says DT are featuring products by Martha Stewart! You don't have to use "Martha" on your creation, but if you have anything by her, we would love to see it! I made a card and a sweet little Pillow Box that is just perfect for a gift card or some money.

For the card, I used some Himalayan Punched Snowflakes, some Sugar Cube Iridescent Glitter and some Blue and White Twine all by Martha Stewart.

I also used the Exclusive Simon Says Clear Stamp Set Holiday Labels, some pink seam binding and a button. The papers are by Pink Paislee from the City Sidewalks 8x8 Paper Pack.

The Clear Pillow Box is also by Simon Says and they come in a pack of 3.

And don't forget, Heidi will generously give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Have a wonderfully sweet day!

♥ Simon Says...Dawny's Sketch! ♥

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This week we have a fabulous sketch for you from our very own Dawny! She just does the best sketches!! (see below) We hope you have fun with it!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Stamps Happen! You don't have to use them on your card, but if you have any, we would love to see them! I chose this adorable stamp called "Let it Snow Man!" So cute! I stamped him onto white cardstock with black ink and then colored in his hat, gloves and carrot nose with some Copics and then added lots of chunky glitter to him.

The adorable papers are by Carta Bella from the Winter Fun 12x12 Collection Kit. It has so many adorable Winter themed papers and stickers. I also used a Maya Road Chipboard Snowflake and lots of White Opal Liquid Pearls.

And don't forget, Heidi will generously give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Here is the fabulous sketch!

I just want to wish everyone here in the US and abroad a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! We are of to my Sister-in-Law's house to be with her and her family for dinner and then we are going to my parents house for dessert! I hope I can fit into my jeans on Friday!! Don't eat too much turkey!! ;)

hugs...

♥ A Vintage Christmas ♥

Love this time of year...(even though it can be stressful!) Time to put up the tree...send out those Christmas cards...hang the fresh pine roping on the fence...string the lights. Love it!

Have you seen the new Christmas papers by Crafty Secrets? So many beautiful patterns! From Vintage to Retro! You can see them all HERE!

I made a fun Christmas Card Box with some of the papers from the Retro Christmas Paper Collection. It is where I will be putting all of the cards that we get in the mail. And it's designed to look like a wrapped present!

I simply cut a large hole in the top of the big box lid making sure the next size box covers it. I then cut a hole in the bottom of the 2nd box and also a slit on the side where the actual cards will go in. My 6 yr. old son will love putting the cards in the slot every day, I'm sure!

I also made a few cards with papers, tags and ephemera from both the Vintage Christmas Paper Collection and the Retro Christmas Paper Collection.

                                                                 My first real Hybrid Card!

This one also uses the new Christmas Express Clear Art Stamp Set! Love this set!!

Trust me you will want both of these fabulous collections! At only $9.95 for the Vintage Christmas Paper Collection and only $8.95 for the Retro Christmas Paper Collection you will be able to make cards, gifts, etc for many years to come! For under $20 you will get 65 papers, tags, ephemera, templates and more that can be used over and over again!!

Have fun creating!!
