♥ Shabby Chic Valentine...for a DUDE!? ♥

Happy Wednesday everyone!! The snow and cold is back upon us here in the Northeast! I love it!! No school, the kids are happy playing in the snow and making snow angels and a snowman again. Hot chocolate for everyone! A nice warm fire in the fireplace. Board games. Snuggling on the couch! So fun!!

It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is called "Let's have a Laugh"! We want to see funny/humorous cards! :)

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing stamps by Paper Smooches! They have the cutest stamps! I chose the Slang Gang Clear Stamp Set for my card. So many fun slang words in this set that can be used for a lot of different types of cards. You don't see many shabby chic cards for a guy out there! Do you? So I thought, why not add the "DUDE" on the bottom! :)

I made the little sticks of dynamite by just rolling some strips of red cardstock and then added some Maya Road Sweet Candy Twine to it. I also used the new Large Heart Doily Die by Simon Says Stamp, a Doodlebug Pink Cupcake Doily, some Prima Crystal Hearts, lace and seam binding. The paper is from the My Mind's Eye Ruby 6x6 Paper Pad.

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

I had a great birthday last Saturday! I didn't have to cook at all the entire day! Woo-hoo! Now, that was a great present! ;) I didn't forget about my {belated} Birthday Giveaway! I promise to have it up sometime this week! :)

Have a wonderfully fun day!

hugs...

Fabulous card Melissa :-) I love the whole design of this ,,, the dynamite is brilliant and changes the whole card from being very feminine to rather masculine :-) Is this for your hubby ?? whoever it is for is gonna love it :-)

At first it just looks like a real lovely card but then I spotted the bombs and the sentiment and it got so masculine! Hugs,

I thought yours was the funniest of the one's posted on the SSS blog today--very ironic, you could even say its DY-NO-MITE! Thanks for the kind comment on my post for the current challenge.
