♥ Simon Says... Something New! ♥

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! This time we want you to create something for either a new home, new baby, new car, etc, etc OR you can use something new on your creation! Get something new and crafty under your tree?? Well, use it on your card and then link it up on the challenge blog for a chance to win a fabulous prize!

This week the Simon Says DT got to play with Cuttlebug folders. I used the 5x7 Polka Dots Embossing Folder on my card. The adorable papers are by Simple Stories from the Baby Steps 6x6 Paper Pad.

The adorable Flower Frame stamp is by Imaginisce. I also used some punched hearts and butterflies by Martha Stewart as well as some pearl swirls, seam binding ribbon, Melissa Frances flowers and glitter.

As always, Heidi will generously give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore!

♥ Time Flies ♥ { And...my Crafty Secrets Winner!}

Happy New Year!! I hope you all are having a wonderful start so far in the new year! Can you believe it's 2012?! I wish each and every one of you the BEST year ever!!

This week's challenge to start the year off at The Shabby Tea Room is called "Time Flies". It is to create a card and/or project inspired by the beautiful photo below and you must include something with wings!

I made my card with some more gorgeous papers from the FarmHouse line by October Afternoon. One of my faves! I also used a couple of die cuts from Jillibean Soup as well as some punched Martha Stewart butterflies.

To finish the card off, I used some seam binding ribbon, twine, pearls and lots of glitter.

The winner of this week's challenge will win 5 digi images of their choice from Robyn's Fetish! So many cute stamps!!
