Father's Day is right around the corner! This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog is all about the men in our lives! Make a Father's Day card...birthday card for a boy/man...etc! Made this one for my hubby! ;)

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing Ranger products! For my card, I used several different Distress Inks and Distress Markers. I first used the Mini Round Ink Blending Tool to add the inks to some Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I then stamped the Tim Holtz Mustache Sketch Stamp over the inked cardstock using the Black Soot Ink Pad. I then stamped another mustache image, cut out the mustache only, colored it in partially with some Distress Markers and then popped it up onto the original image using some mini Foam Dots.

 The cute D A D cards are Tim Holtz Alpha Cards. Papers are Tim Holtz French Industrial. I also used a little Screw brad on the bow.

♥ Simon Says...Anything Goes! ♥

Happy Hump Day! It's time for a brand new challenge over at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! It's Anything Goes!!

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Newtons Nook and/or Lil' Inkers Designs! I am using the Fanfare Scalloped Border Die by Lil' Inkers on my card today. Love this fun die!

I first watercolored on some Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Using a brush, I first added some plain water to the paper. I then dabbed some ink onto a corner of an acrylic block, to act as my pallette. I then added a little more water to my brush and then picked up some of the ink and added it to my paper. I used 3 different Distress Inks...Evergreen Bough, Broken China and Tumbled Glass. After the inks were dry, I then ran the Fanfare Scalloped Border Die through my machine a few times, to make 3 die cuts, using the cardstock. I then added them to my card using some Glossy Accents. I finished it off by adding some Liquid Pearls to the die cuts. The sentiment is from the True Love stamp set by Ali Edwards (Technique Tuesday).

♥ Flowers and Balloons ♥ {TSTR #219}

Happy Saturday! Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day so far! :) Just stopping in with a card I made for this week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room! This week's challenge is to use Flowers and/or balloons on your creation. Just the name of the challenge...Flowers and Balloons...drew me in! And look at this gorgeous inspiration photo!! Love it!

I used some papers from the So Noted paper pad by Carta Bella. (I still can't get enough of these pretty papers!) I used some Heidi Swapp Chipboard pieces which I made some "balloons" out of the hearts and twine.

I finished it off with some pearls, vintage lace, flowers and paper doily.
