♥ Let's hang out ♥

It's HOT here!! 99 degrees yesterday and today is gonna be a scorcher too! Whew! Summer is definitely here a few days early! Starting today my son has half days of school until next Wednesday. Because of all the snow days they had this year, they are school longer to make them up. I can't wait for him to be home for Summer break!! I can't believe he is going into the 3rd grade already! It's so true when people say to enjoy your little ones because they grow up so quick! This picture feels like yesterday! :)

Today starts a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is...

                                        "You Gotta Have Friends!"

Friends are such an important part of our lives and we do need to cherish them. Lets make something especially for them and let them know how special they are to us.

This week the Simon Says DT are showcasing products by Art Impressions! I used the super cute Owl and Monkey Front and Back Mini Stamp Set. {It is not in stock at the moment but will be soon! There are some other cute AI Front and Back stamps in stock though! Check them out HERE!}I used the cute monkey from the set. Colored him in with some Distress Markers and then adhered the front and back of him inside a die cut circle on the card front.

I used the Woodland Branch Die and Tender Leaves Dies by Memory Box. I also used some Woodgrain Kraft Cardstock by Simon Says and the Wood patterned paper is from the Base Coat 12x12 Paper Pack by Kaiser. I finished it off with some White Pearls and Natural Twine.

Here is the back of the monkey! :)

And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

Have you seen the new Simon Says Stamp Store Website?? It looks amazing! You can see it for yourself HERE! Happy Shopping!! :)

Im a smaller ring kind of girl. Plus, I harm myself with my rings repeatedly. I used to wear a marquee cut diamond and managed to scratch my face pretty badly by using it. I scraped the kids with it repeatedly, too. The wedding ring husband gifted me for our Birthday was picked because of its settings being much less dangerous.
