Hi there! It's time for a brand new challenge over at the amazing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is to make a card using your FAVORITE TECHNIQUE and/or PRODUCT!
This week the Simon Says DT are featuring products by Ranger! Anyone who knows me knows my FAVORITE ALL-TIME PRODUCT is White Opal Liquid Pearls! Well any color Liquid Pearls but white is usually my go to. The BEST product ever made in my opinion! :) And my FAVORITE TECHNIQUE is Distressing! Whether it's with inks or a Paper Distresser Tool, I love to distress!
I used Walnut Stain and Tea Dye Distress Inks to "age" my Prima Finnabair papers, using the Mini Ink Blending Tool. The papers already come distressed but when you cut them down to size 2 of the edges aren't distressed any longer and these inks match up perfectly. To color my seam binding ribbon, I sprayed it with both the Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass Distress Sprays. (Another FAVE Product of mine!) After it dried, I rubbed the Tea Dye Ink Pad over the ribbon a little to add some aging to it.
To finish up the card, I used some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter to some Prima Opuscule and Bulbe Flowers. The "Brick Wall" panel is actually part of the packaging from the flowers. (ANY Prima Product is also a fave of mine too! Even the packaging! ;) The butterflies are from the Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly Punch.
And don't forget, the super sweet and generous Heidi will give the random winner of this challenge a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore! Good luck everyone!

So very lovely! The texture and colors are absolutely wonderful! The touches of distressing add such a fabulous effect! Thanks so much for sharing!
Opal liquid pearls--something I'll definitely have to learn about. This piece is a sweet shabby chic piece. It looks like a lot of heart went into making it special. Every element added to its perfection.
